Bisher muss er aus anderen Kontinenten importiert werden, obwohl es viel davon in unserem Abwasser hat. Ein Pilotprojekt unter Federf\u00fchrung des Kantons Z\u00fcrich zeigt nun, dass sich der Rohstoff im grossen Stil aus der Asche der Kl\u00e4rschlammverwertung zur\u00fcckgewinnen l\u00e4sst. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Abf\u00e4lle sind Rohstoffe \u2013 so die Leitidee der Abfall- und Ressourcenwirtschaft des Kantons Z\u00fcrich. Als Pionier im so genannten \u00abUrban Mining\u00bb setzt der Kanton Z\u00fcrich konsequent auf die R\u00fcckgewinnung von Wertstoffen aus den Hinterlassenschaften unserer Gesellschaft. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Einer der kostbarsten Rohstoffe, der bis heute noch im Abfall landet, ist Phosphor \u2013 eine f\u00fcr Mensch, Tiere und Pflanzen unerl\u00e4ssliche und nicht ersetzbare Substanz. Seit 2006 darf Kl\u00e4rschlamm aus Abwasserreinigungsanlagen nicht mehr als D\u00fcnger auf die Felder ausgebracht werden, da er zu viele Schadstoffe enth\u00e4lt. Dadurch gelangt der im Kl\u00e4rschlamm enthaltene Phosphor nicht mehr zur\u00fcck in den nat\u00fcrlichen Stoffkreislauf. Der Kanton Z\u00fcrich hat sich mit dem neuen Kl\u00e4rschlamm-Entsorgungsplan zum Ziel gesetzt, im Sinne einer nachhaltigen Ressourcenwirtschaft die Entsorgungswege f\u00fcr den Kl\u00e4rschlamm so auszugestalten, dass eine sp\u00e4tere R\u00fcckgewinnung des Phosphors m\u00f6glich ist. Mit der Realisierung der zentralen Kl\u00e4rschlammverwertungsanlage im Werdh\u00f6lzli in Z\u00fcrich konnten zudem die Kosten f\u00fcr die Kl\u00e4rschlammbehandlung wesentlich reduziert und die energetische Nutzung aus dem Kl\u00e4rschlamm optimiert werden. Zurzeit fehlt es hingegen noch an praxisreifen Anwendungen, um den Phosphor aus der Kl\u00e4rschlamm-Asche in den Wertstoffkreislauf zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong> <span style=\"font-family: Arial Black,sans-serif;\">Nach den erfolgreichen Laborversuchen folgt nun die Pilotierung<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Damit auch bez\u00fcglich Phosphor das gesteckte Ziel erreicht werden kann, hat der Kanton Z\u00fcrich wesentlich zur Entwicklung eines neuen Verfahrens beigetragen, das den Phosphor umweltschonend aus der Kl\u00e4rschlamm-Asche entzieht und wieder nutzbar macht. Mit dem neu entwickelten Verfahren kann der Phosphor als hochwertige Phosphors\u00e4ure wieder in den Wertstoffkreislauf zur\u00fcckgef\u00fchrt werden. Potentielle Anwendungsgebiete f\u00fcr die Phosphors\u00e4ure sind neben der D\u00fcngerproduktion beispielsweise die Nahrungs- und Futtermittelindustrie sowie weitere industrielle Prozesse. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Nachdem im Oktober 2015 die erstmalige Herstellung von hochwertiger Phosphors\u00e4ure aus Z\u00fcrcher Kl\u00e4rschlamm-Asche gelungen ist, werden nun im Rahmen des laufenden Pilotbetriebs die Erkenntnisse zum kontinuierlichen Betrieb des so genannten Phos4life-Verfahrens vertieft. Ziel ist es, die industrielle Produktion von reiner, schwermetallfreier Phosphors\u00e4ure aus Kl\u00e4rschlamm-Asche marktf\u00e4hig zu machen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong> <span style=\"font-family: Arial Black,sans-serif;\">Wesentlich umweltfreundlicher<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Verglichen mit den heute verwendeten, konventionell hergestellten Phosphors\u00e4uren aus Rohphosphat ist die Umweltbelastung der Phos4life-S\u00e4ure aus der heimischen Kl\u00e4rschlamm-Asche deutlich geringer. Hingegen zeichnet es sich bereits heute ab, dass eine wirtschaftlich vertretbare Umsetzung nur dann m\u00f6glich wird, wenn die Asche von mehreren Kl\u00e4rschlammverwertungsanlagen zusammen behandelt wird.
