(Bild: Unsplash)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"contentHead\">Die Schweiz setzt sich an der Klimakonferenz in Katowice f\u00fcr robuste Richtlinien ein, die eine wirksame Umsetzung des \u00dcbereinkommens gew\u00e4hrleisten. Die Klima\u00fcbereinkommen von Paris verpflichtete alle Staaten, ab 2020 entsprechend ihrer Verantwortung und ihren verf\u00fcgbaren Mitteln konkrete Schritte zum Schutz des Klimas zu unternehmen. So m\u00fcssen die Staaten alle f\u00fcnf Jahre ein jeweils h\u00f6her gestecktes Emissionsreduktionsziel formulieren, Massnahmen zu dessen Erreichung ergreifen und \u00fcber die erzielten Fortschritte Bericht erstatten.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contentHead\">Das \u00dcbereinkommen umfasst zudem Bestimmungen zur Anpassung an die Klimaerw\u00e4rmung und zu Unterst\u00fctzungsmassnahmen wie zum Beispiel Finanzierung und Technologietransfer. An der 24.\u00a0Vertragsparteienkonferenz (COP24) des Rahmen\u00fcbereinkommens der Vereinten Nationen \u00fcber Klima\u00e4nderungen sollen die Staaten nun die detaillierten Umsetzungsregeln zu diesen Punkten beschliessen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mod mod-nsbnewsdetails\">\n<p><strong>Einheitliche Vorgaben f\u00fcr alle Parteien<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gem\u00e4ss dem vom Bundesrat am 21. September 2018 verabschiedeten Mandat wird sich die Schweizer Delegation f\u00fcr robuste und detaillierte Regelungen einsetzen, die eine wirksame Umsetzung des \u00dcbereinkommens von Paris gew\u00e4hrleisten. Die Delegation wird insbesondere die Einf\u00fchrung einheitlicher Vorgaben f\u00fcr alle Parteien unterst\u00fctzen. Diese betreffen namentlich die Beschreibung des nationalen Reduktionsziels, die alle f\u00fcnf Jahre bekanntzugebende Anhebung dieses Ziel sowie die Anrechnung der Emissionen und der erzielten Emissionsverminderungen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Schweiz wird sich zudem f\u00fcr verbindliche Vorgaben f\u00fcr die Anrechnung von Emissionsverminderungen einsetzen, die im Ausland erzielt wurden. Solche Reduktionen d\u00fcrfen weder mehrfach angerechnet werden noch negative Umweltauswirkungen nach sich ziehen. Was die Finanzierung anbelangt, so wird die Schweiz Empfehlungen unterst\u00fctzen, die auf eine Verbesserung der Transparenz bez\u00fcglich der eingesetzten Mittel abzielen.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ministerielle Gespr\u00e4che \u00fcber zus\u00e4tzliche Massnahmen<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Bundesr\u00e4tin Doris\u00a0Leuthard wird am Ministertreffen teilnehmen, das in den letzten Konferenztagen stattfindet. Im Rahmen des Talanoa-Dialogs werden die Ministerinnen und Minister dar\u00fcber diskutieren, wie die L\u00fccke zwischen den derzeitigen Reduktionszielen der Staaten und dem globalen Ziel einer Begrenzung der Klimaerw\u00e4rmung auf deutlich unter 2\u00a0Grad beziehungsweise auf 1,5\u00a0Grad Celsius geschlossen werden kann. Die Ministerinnen und Minister werden namentlich den Bericht des Weltklimarates (IPCC) zur Kenntnis nehmen, der im Oktober ver\u00f6ffentlicht wird.<\/p>\n<p>In diesem Bericht geht es um die Konsequenzen einer Begrenzung der globalen Erw\u00e4rmung auf 1,5\u00a0Grad Celsius und um die Emissionsreduktionspfade zur Erreichung dieses Ziels.
