Die von Swiss Sustainable Finance lancierte Initative nimmt Gestalt an: Mehr als 140 Asset Manager, Besitzer von Verm\u00f6genswerten, Verm\u00f6gensverwalter und Verm\u00f6gensdienstleister aus der ganzen Welt, die Anlegergelder im Wert von USD\u00a06,8\u00a0Billionen vertreten, haben gemeinsam Indexanbieter dazu aufgefordert, kontroverse Waffen<\/a>[1]<\/a> aus den g\u00e4ngigen Indizes zu entfernen.<\/p>\n

In einem offenen Brief, der heute auch in der Financial Times, in der Neuen Z\u00fcrcher Zeitung und in Le Temps ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde, wendeten sich die Unterzeichner an Vertreter von FTSE Russell, Morningstar, MSCI, S&P Dow Jones Indices und STOXX und riefen die Indexanbieter auf zu handeln.<\/p>\n

Anlagen in Unternehmen mit Bezug zu kontroversen Waffen verstossen schon heute gegen einige nationale Bestimmungen und internationale Konventionen. Die g\u00e4ngigen Indizes ber\u00fccksichtigen sie aber nach wie vor. F\u00fcr aktive Anleger, die sie selbst ausschliessen, bedeutet dies einen zus\u00e4tzlichen Tracking Error im Vergleich zu Standardbenchmarks und zus\u00e4tzliche Kosten. Passive Anleger haben dagegen meist keine Wahl, denn die \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigende Mehrheit der Strategien bildet traditionelle Indizes ohne Ausschl\u00fcsse nach.<\/p>\n

Folglich tragen heute Anleger, die die Benchmarks der grossen Anbieter verwenden, zur Finanzierung von Unternehmen bei, die mit der Herstellung von kontroversen Waffen zu tun haben.<\/p>\n

Saubere Portfolios: Die neue Normalit\u00e4t<\/strong>
\nSabine D\u00f6beli, CEO von Swiss Sustainable Finance, erkl\u00e4rt: \u201eDie Abstimmung der Anlegerportfolios auf etablierte Werte und Standards wird zur neuen Normalit\u00e4t bei Pensionskassen und anderen institutionellen Anlegern. Dass unsere Initiative die Unterst\u00fctzung einer so grossen Zahl von Organisationen gewinnen konnte, ist ein starkes Signal an die Indexanbieter, und wir halten es f\u00fcr eine logische Folge, diese Forderung in den globalen Indizes widerzuspiegeln.\u201c<\/p>\n

Eric Borremans, Leiter ESG bei Pictet Asset Management sagt: \u201eWir sind \u00fcberzeugt, dass Finanzmittel f\u00fcr Hersteller kontroverser Waffen in \u00dcbereinstimmung mit internationalen Konventionen, bester Anlagepraxis und der \u00f6ffentlichen Meinung weniger leicht verf\u00fcgbar sein sollten. Indizes dienen als Grundlage f\u00fcr viele aktive und passive Anlageprodukte; wir sind der Meinung, dass Hersteller kontroverser Waffen standardm\u00e4ssig ausgeschlossen werden sollten.\u201c<\/p>\n

Peter Damgaard Jensen, CEO von PKA A\/S sagt: \u201eF\u00fcr uns als verantwortliche Anleger, die wir mehr als 300\u00a0000 Rentensparer vertreten, sind kontroverse Waffen inakzeptabel und daher von all unseren Anlagen ausgeschlossen. Viele Anbieter von Indexprodukten teilen diesen Grundsatz nicht, was es anderen Anlegern erschwert sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht zur Finanzierung von Herstellern kontroverser Waffen beitragen.<\/p>\n
