Schweizer Sonderabfalltag<\/a> in Olten. \u00dcber den virtuellen Weg kamen f\u00fcnfzig weitere Personen hinzu, welche Informationen gewinnen und ihre Fragen stellen konnten. Die Hybridveranstaltung wurde auch zum zweiten Mal f\u00fcr die franz\u00f6sischsprachigen Kollegen simultan \u00fcbersetzt.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Praxis und Vollzug<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Die komplexen Zusammenh\u00e4nge zwischen Abfall- und Gefahrgutrecht sind im Alltag f\u00fcr viele Betriebe eine Herausforderung. Martin H\u00e4fliger von der Firma Encoma-OSH GmbH zeigte die Pflichten der Beteiligten klar auf. Entgegen der Meinung vieler Abgeberbetriebe, kann durch das Einholen externer Unterst\u00fctzung die Verantwortung und Haftung nicht delegiert werden. Dazu z\u00e4hlen: den Abfall ermitteln, kennzeichnen, den Begleitschein erstellen, gegebenenfalls die Gefahrgutklassierung und die damit verbundenen Pflichten. Dar\u00fcber hinaus sind oft bei den Massnahmen im Zusammenhang mit der Arbeitssicherheit M\u00e4ngel festzustellen. Sich das n\u00f6tige Fachwissen anzueignen und in kompetente Unterst\u00fctzung zu investieren lohnt sich.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr die Umsetzung der Vorschriften im medizinischen Bereich wird demn\u00e4chst ein \u00fcberarbeiteter Leitfaden ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Rita Barros vom Bundesamt f\u00fcr Umwelt (Bafu) stellte das aktualisierte Dokument vor. Die neue Struktur des Leitfadens, die Zusammenfassung aller Erlasse aus Arbeitssicherheit, Biosicherheit, Gefahrgut- und Abfallrecht sollen den Verantwortlichen in den Spit\u00e4lern und Institutionen als Praxishilfe dienen. Oft werden Abf\u00e4lle mit Kontaminationsgefahr als infekti\u00f6s klassiert, oder Sonderabf\u00e4lle werden vermischt oder verd\u00fcnnt, was nicht zul\u00e4ssig ist. Mit der Publikation Ende 2021 sollen solche Fehler in Zukunft vermieden werden.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Stand der Technik und Entwicklung<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Die \u00c4nderung des Gew\u00e4sserschutzgesetzes und der -verordnung stellt die Problematik der Mikroverunreinigungen mehr denn je in den Mittelpunkt. Luca Rossi vom VSA (Verband Schweizer Abwasser- und Gew\u00e4sserschutzfachleute) zeigte, welche Kl\u00e4ranlagen mit zus\u00e4tzlichen Installationen aufzur\u00fcsten sind, um Arzneimittelr\u00fcckst\u00e4nde effizient aus dem Abwasser zu entfernen. Die technischen M\u00f6glichkeiten stellen unterschiedliche finanzielle und r\u00e4umliche Anforderungen. Grunds\u00e4tzlich vorteilhaft sei, so der Referent, das Problem bei der Quelle anzupacken.<\/p>\n<p>Ralf K\u00e4gi von der Eawag untersucht mit seinem Team die Persistenz und Gefahr von Nanopartikeln in R\u00fcckst\u00e4nden aus Kl\u00e4r- und Verbrennungsanlagen. Die Ergebnisse ihrer mehrj\u00e4hrigen Untersuchungen zeigen, dass sich die Nanopartikel w\u00e4hrend der entsprechenden Kl\u00e4r- beziehungsweise Brennprozesse in Formen umwandelten, die ungef\u00e4hrlich sind.<\/p>\n<p>Anders sah es vor 30 Jahren beim Thema Asbest aus, als man erkannte, dass diese Fasern ein starkes Gesundheitsrisiko darstellen. Walter Hiltpold von der Carbotech AG ist ein Experte in diesem Bereich. Aufgrund der Latenzzeit zwischen Exposition und Erkrankung befinde man sich drei Jahrzehnten nach dem Asbestverbot im aufsteigenden Peak der zu beklagenden Asbesttoten. Heute gelangen die Fasern aufgrund der stattfindenden Renovationen von Altbauten in die Umwelt. Die gesetzlichen Anforderungen nehmen laut Referent die Bauherrschaft und die Bauarbeiter in die Verantwortung und stellen damit sicher, dass die Gefahren ermittelt und Sanierungsmassnahmen eingeleitet werden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Themen der Patronatspartner SVUT und SENS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Von den Patronatspartnern SVUT und SENS wurden interessante Beitr\u00e4ge zur Elektromobilit\u00e4t und der R\u00fcckgewinnung von K\u00e4lte- und Treibgasmitteln pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/p>\n<p>Alle Referate und Eindr\u00fccke der Veranstaltung sind auf der Website <a href=\"\/\/www.ecoserve.ch\">www.ecoserve.ch<\/a> zu finden.<\/p>\n<p><em>Der n\u00e4chste Sonderabfalltag ist f\u00fcr Dienstag, 14.
