Auftraggeber ist die CO2 Energie AG, die in Nesselnbach AG aus der Verwertung organischer Abf\u00e4lle zu Biogas bzw. Biomethan entstehendes CO2 zur industriellen Weiterverwendung nutzt. Der Auftrag sei ein Meilenstein im HZI-Gesch\u00e4ftsfeld Renewable Gas, so die Firma.<\/p>\n<h2>Technologische Aufwertung des bestehenden Standortes<\/h2>\n<p>Laut HZI birgt das Projekt neben umwelttechnischen auch wirtschaftliche Vorteile: Eine bereits bestehende Biogasanlage am Standort erzeugt bisher Biogas, welches zur Einspeisung in das regionale Erdgasnetz durch Gasaufbereitung zu Biomethan veredelt wird. Dieser Prozess trennt im Biogas enthaltenes Kohlendioxid vom Methan ab. K\u00fcnftig wird mittels der neu entstehenden Anlage das Beiprodukt CO2 aus dem Gasaufbereitungsprozess durch Verfl\u00fcssigung nutzbar gemacht und als Produktgas verwertet, welches in verschiedenen Industriezweigen beispielsweise als technisches Schweissgas, in Gasl\u00f6schanlagen oder zur Inertisierung Anwendung findet. Die Verarbeitungskapazit\u00e4t der geplanten Verfl\u00fcssigungsanlage liegt laut Angaben bei 4000\u00a0t\/a CO2. Neben der effizienten Verwertung des Kohlenstoffdioxids zeichne sich das Projekt weiter durch einen Beitrag zur Substitution von fossilem CO2 aus, betont HZI.<\/p>\n<p>Entwickelt wird die Anlage in kompakter Containerbauweise, das hochreine Produktgas wird verfl\u00fcssigt und in Lagertanks verpresst.
