Sie hat nicht nur komplett auf erneuerbaren Strom aus der Schweiz umgestellt, sie hat auch ihren gesamten Energiebedarf um 80% reduziert. Und auch bei dem, was dar\u00fcber hinaus anf\u00e4llt \u2013 von Lieferketten bis zum Arbeitsweg der Angestellten, wird sie bis 2025 klimaneutral. Mehr noch: Sie will sogar 1 Million Tonnen mehr CO2 zur\u00fcckholen, als sie verbraucht. Das entlastet das ganze Land\u00bb.\r\n<h3><strong>Wertsch\u00e4tzung f\u00fcr Fahrplan in Richtung Klimaneutralit\u00e4t<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nMit den 2019 ins Leben gerufenen\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldfinance.com\/sustainability-awards\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sustainability Awards<\/a>\u00a0zeichnet das World Finance Magazine Unternehmen aus, die sich f\u00fcr die Umsetzung bedeutender Massnahmen in den Bereichen Umwelt, Gesellschaft und Unternehmensf\u00fchrung (ESG) einsetzen und gleichzeitig kontinuierlich nach M\u00f6glichkeiten zur Verbesserung ihrer Nachhaltigkeitsbem\u00fchungen suchen. Die Jury w\u00fcrdigte insbesondere die Ausrichtung von Swisscom auf das Pariser Abkommen, ihren Beitrag zu den 17 Zielen f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) und ihre ganzheitliche Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie. Das Gremium anerkennt die Unternehmenspraktiken und Ethik von Swisscom, ihre F\u00fchrungsrolle bei der Festlegung einer ehrgeizigen Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie in der Telekommunikationsbranche und die Emission der Green Bonds zur F\u00f6rderung nachhaltiger und technologischer Fortschritte. Swisscom \u00fcbernimmt nicht nur Verantwortung f\u00fcr die Umwelt, sondern auch f\u00fcr den Menschen. Dies hat sich nach Einsch\u00e4tzung der Jury gerade auch in der Pandemie gezeigt.\r\n<h3><strong>1 Million Handys finanzieren 5 Millionen Mahlzeiten<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\u00abDer Award ist eine sch\u00f6ne Anerkennung f\u00fcr unsere nachhaltige und verantwortungsvolle Unternehmensf\u00fchrung\u00bb, stellt CEO Christoph Aeschlimann fest.\u00a0\u00abDoch ganz besonders danke ich unseren Kundinnen und Kunden f\u00fcr ihr nachhaltiges Engagement: Vor wenigen Tagen wurde das millionste gesammelte Handy f\u00fcr Mobile Aid in einem Swisscom Shop in Bern abgegeben\u00bb. Im Rahmen des Programms Mobile Aid k\u00f6nnen Kundinnen und Nicht-Kunden ihre alten Smartphones f\u00fcr einen guten Zweck spenden.\r\n\r\n\u00abMit dem Erl\u00f6s aus 1 Million gesammelten Handys konnten bereits 5 Millionen Mahlzeiten f\u00fcr Kinder in Not finanziert werden\u00bb, so Aeschlimann. In der Schweiz liegen immer noch gesch\u00e4tzte acht Millionen alte Handys ungenutzt herum. Allein deren Materialwert \u00fcbersteige locker 60 Millionen Franken. Der Erl\u00f6s aus dem Wiederverkauf von Occasions-Handys und dem sachgem\u00e4ssen Recycling alter Ger\u00e4te komme SOS-Kinderdorf Schweiz zugute.\r\n\r\nGerade im Anbetracht knapper nat\u00fcrlicher Ressourcen ist aber auch das aus dem Recycling gewonnene Material sehr wertvoll. Denn die f\u00fcr die Herstellung neuer Handys ben\u00f6tigten seltenen Erden stammen aus der ganzen Welt.
