Wollen die Schweiz und Liechtenstein ihre Netto-Null-Klimaziele erreichen, braucht es zus\u00e4tzliche alternative Energiequellen. Auch angesichts einer m\u00f6glichen Energiekrise nimmt die Bedeutung einheimischer und erneuerbarer Energiequellen zu. Windenergie wird in der Schweiz bisher noch wenig genutzt. Die Klimastiftung Schweiz gibt deshalb den Windkrafttechnologien einen Anschub und unterst\u00fctzt zwei lokale KMU bei der Realisierung innovativer Windenergieprojekte.<\/p>\n

Windenergie vom eigenen Dach und im hochalpinen Raum<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In diesem Sinne f\u00f6rdert die Stiftung die Schlosserei N\u00e4gelin<\/a> aus Kaiseraugst bei der Entwicklung von Vertikalturbinen f\u00fcr die lokale Stromproduktion. Die 1×1 Meter grosse Turbine soll beispielsweise auf privaten Hausd\u00e4chern oder entlang von Autobahnen praktisch ger\u00e4uschlos erneuerbaren Strom liefern, selbst bei geringen Windst\u00e4rken. Auch der Urner Ingenieur und Maschinenbauer Urs Giger erh\u00e4lt neu F\u00f6rdergelder der Stiftung. Seine Firma entwickelt ein derzeit wohl noch einzigartiges Konzept f\u00fcr Windturbinen im hochalpinen Raum. Die technisch anspruchsvolle und auf den Alpenraum zugeschnittene \u00abWindbr\u00fccke\u00bb verbindet f\u00fcnf Windkraftanlagen in einer gemeinsamen Konstruktion und soll bis zu f\u00fcnfmal mehr Wind ernten als herk\u00f6mmliche Einzelanlagen.<\/p>\n

\u00abWindkraft spielt in der Energiewende eine wesentliche Rolle\u00bb, sagt Daniel Wild, Stiftungsrat der Klimastiftung Schweiz und Chief Sustainability Officer bei der Bank J. Safra Sarasin.\u00a0 Eine besondere Bedeutung kommt den Windkrafttechnologien im Winter zu: \u00abWindenergie kann m\u00f6gliche Stroml\u00fccken im Winter \u00fcberbr\u00fccken, wenn Photovoltaik und Wasserkraft weniger Energie liefern. Neue Technologien und mutige Ideen im Bereich Windkraft sind deshalb dringend notwendig. Mit unserer F\u00f6rderung tragen wir zur St\u00e4rkung solcher Technologien bei.\u00bb<\/p>\n

1,1 Millionen f\u00fcr zehn innovative KMU<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Total 1,1 Millionen Franken hat die Klimastiftung Schweiz in ihrer aktuellen F\u00f6rderrunde gesprochen. Zehn Klima-Innovationen erhalten neu F\u00f6rdergelder der Stiftung. Dazu z\u00e4hlt auch die Online-Plattform useagain.ch<\/a>, die auf die Kreislaufwirtschaft in der Bauindustrie fokussiert. Die Plattform fungiert als Marktplatz und Prozessunterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die Wiederverwendung von Bauteilen und will so die Ressourcenverschwendung in der Bau- und Immobilienbranche reduzieren.<\/p>\n

M\u00f6glich wird das Engagement der Klimastiftung Schweiz nicht zuletzt dank Partnerschaften mit Grossunternehmen: Insgesamt 30 Dienstleister aus der Schweiz und Liechtenstein tragen die Initiative bisher mit und spenden der Stiftung jedes Jahr die Mittel aus der R\u00fcckverteilung ihrer CO2<\/sub>-Abgabe. Im Oktober sind die Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) und die Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB) als Partnerfirmen zur Stiftung gestossen. Und schon fr\u00fcher konnte die Stiftung einen Zuwachs an Partnern<\/a> verzeichnen. Ennio Perna, Leiter der Fachstelle Nachhaltigkeit bei der BKB,\u00a0 wurde neu in den Stiftungsrat gew\u00e4hlt.<\/p>\n
