Auch wenn der Peak bei den Energie- und Rohmaterialpreisen bereits \u00fcberschritten ist, verringern die im Vergleich zu den Vor-Pandemie-Werten immer noch hohen Preise die Investitionsbereitschaft der MEM-Kunden. Auch die h\u00f6heren Zinsen, mit denen die Zentralbanken die Inflation zu z\u00e4hmen versuchen, das schwache aussenwirtschaftliche Umfeld und die hohe geopolitische Unsicherheit d\u00e4mpfen die Nachfrage nach Investitionsg\u00fctern. Vom starken Franken kommt auf dem Absatzmarkt Europa weiterer Gegenwind. Die Produktionsauslastung der MEM-Branche und der mittelfristig gesicherte Auftragsbestand waren im Januar 2023 zwar noch relativ hoch, zeigen jedoch leichte Abw\u00e4rtstendenzen. Zudem erwarten die befragten KMU im Saldo, dass die Auftragseing\u00e4nge und Ums\u00e4tze im ersten Quartal 2023 gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahresquartal sinken werden. Das zeigt die j\u00fcngste Quartalsbefragung von Swissmechanic, dem Arbeitgeberverband der KMU der MEM-Branche.<\/p>\n<h3>Swissmechanic Gesch\u00e4ftsklima-Index wieder im gr\u00fcnen Bereich<\/h3>\n<p>Obwohl die Lieferketten im l\u00e4ngerfristigen Vergleich noch \u00fcberdurchschnittlich stark angespannt sind, zeigt die Befragung, dass die Situation sich merklich verbessert hat. Der Mangel an Arbeitskr\u00e4ften hat hingegen an Bedeutung gewonnen und steht mittlerweile auf Platz eins der gr\u00f6ssten Herausforderungen (vgl. Abb. 1).<\/p>\n<p>Trotz der Verlangsamung der Konjunkturdynamik durch verschiedene Belastungsfaktoren sind die KMU-MEM-Betriebe im Januar 2023 vorsichtig optimistisch: 57 Prozent der KMU erachten das aktuelle Gesch\u00e4ftsklima als eher oder sehr g\u00fcnstig, 43 Prozent als eher oder sehr ung\u00fcnstig. Damit befindet sich der Swissmechanic Gesch\u00e4ftsklima-Index nach seinem Taucher im letzten Quartal wieder im gr\u00fcnen Bereich (vgl. Nach der konjunkturellen Abk\u00fchlung im Winter 2022\/23 ist ab dem zweiten Quartal 2023 auch in der MEM-Branche mit mehr Schwung zu rechnen. Dahinter steht, dass verschiedene Belastungsfaktoren, bei denen sich teilweise bereits jetzt eine Abschw\u00e4chung abzeichnet, zunehmend in den Hintergrund treten werden.<\/p>\n<h3>KMU der MEM-Branche zeigen sich fit f\u00fcr die Zukunft<\/h3>\n<p>Vom 7. bis 10. M\u00e4rz findet die INNOTEQ 2023 in Bern statt. Das Leitmotiv der Veranstaltung lautet \u00abFit for Future\u00bb. Beim Fokusthema \u00abSwiss Manufacturing\u00bb geht es um Deglobalisierung, Local Sourcing und Backshoring, den Werk- und Innovationsplatz Schweiz sowie um Produktivit\u00e4t und Kompetivit\u00e4t. Das Sonderthema \u00abINNOTEQ Talents\u00bb widmet sich den Themen Aus- und Weiterbildung, Nachwuchsf\u00f6rderung und Fachkr\u00e4ftemangel.
