(Bild: Pixabay.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend das erste Quartal des Jahres 2022 noch von den Massnahmen zur Bek\u00e4mpfung der Coronapandemie gepr\u00e4gt war, explodierten die Umsatzzahlen im Sommer 2022 in der Messe- und Veranstaltungsbranche f\u00f6rmlich. Zu Jahresende aber sank das Volumen wieder, da Energiemangellage und der Konflikt in der Ukraine das Gesch\u00e4ft erneut bremste. Das f\u00fchrt zu Umsatzzahlen, welche zwar noch immer erst zu 70 % denjenigen vor der Pandemie entsprechen, den Veranstaltungssektor aber hoffnungsvoller in die Zukunft blicken lassen, wie eine Umfrage von Expo Event Swiss LiveCom Association und dem Schweizer Verband der Festzeltbauer und tempor\u00e4re Bauten Tectum zeigt. Die Umsatzzahlen f\u00fcr 2022 werden mit 3,85 Mia. CHF beziffert (2021: 2,52 Mia. CHF, 2020: 2,37 Mia. CHF). Doch vom Vor-Pandemie-Wert ist man noch deutlich entfernt; dieser lag 2019 bei 5,56 Mia. CHF.<\/p>\n<h3>Der Hype zu digitalen Veranstaltungen l\u00e4sst nach<\/h3>\n<p>Pandemiebedingt erlebten digitale Veranstaltungen einen regelrechten Boom, welcher sich heute allerdings wieder leicht relativieren, wie die erhobenen Zahlen zeigen: Im vergangenen Jahr wurden die Ums\u00e4tze der befragten Unternehmen durchschnittlich zu 80 bis 100 % durch physische Veranstaltungen erwirtschaftet, w\u00e4hrend der \u00fcbrige Umsatz zu gleichen Teilen aus hybriden und digitalen Veranstaltungen kommt. Das l\u00e4sst darauf schliessen, dass Live-Veranstaltungen auch weiterhin vom Markt bevorzugt werden, auch wenn die Digitalen Formate nicht mehr wegzudenken, und auch in Zukunft eine wichtige Rolle spielen werden. Dar\u00fcber berichtet auch ein <a href=\"https:\/\/www.organisator.ch\/de\/abo\/2023-02-28\/mice-branche-fast-wieder-normal\/\">aktueller Artikel (kostenpflichtig)<\/a> dieses Mediums.<\/p>\n<h3>Fachkr\u00e4ftemangel und Energiekosten noch immer zentrale Themen<\/h3>\n<p>Trotzdem k\u00e4mpft der Veranstaltungssektor weiterhin mit grossen Herausforderungen: Obschon sich die Gesamtanzahl besch\u00e4ftigter Personen wieder leicht erh\u00f6ht hat, sorgt der Fachkr\u00e4ftemangel f\u00fcr h\u00f6here Lohn- und Rekrutierungsaufw\u00e4nde. Aufgrund der durch die Kombination mit der andauernden starken Inflation sowie den massiv h\u00f6heren Material- und Energiekosten bedingten geschm\u00e4lerten Margen werden deshalb Preissteigerungen von 15 bis 20 % erwartet. Ob und wie sich das auf die Auftragslage auswirken wird, ist aktuell noch offen. Christoph Kamber, Pr\u00e4sident von Expo Event, bleibt trotzdem vorsichtig optimistisch: \u00abWir sind froh und dankbar, dass die Zahlen und Ums\u00e4tze wieder nach oben zeigen. Trotzdem haben wir in Zukunft noch einige Knackn\u00fcsse zu l\u00f6sen. Es zeigte sich einmal mehr, dass Unsicherheit Gift f\u00fcr unsere Branche ist und unmittelbar signifikante Umsatzeinbussen auf Veranstalterseite ausl\u00f6sen. Dieser Herausforderung stellen wir uns aber mutig, optimistisch und selbstverst\u00e4ndlich mit kreativen und \u00fcberzeugenden L\u00f6sungen.
