Dabei kommt unter anderem das Unkrautbek\u00e4mpfungsmittel Glyphosat zum Einsatz. Bis heute ist dieses Herbizid der einzige in der Schweiz zugelassene Wirkstoff zur Bek\u00e4mpfung von Vegetation im Bereich von Bahnanlagen.<\/p>\n<h3>Neuartige L\u00f6sungen im Test<\/h3>\n<p>In Zusammenarbeit mit externen Spezialisten werden seit 2018 verschiedene neuartige L\u00f6sungen zur Vegetationskontrolle getestet. Schon heute ist klar: Aufgrund der Vielfalt der nat\u00fcrlichen und baulichen Gegebenheiten entlang der Bahnstrecken wird nicht nur eine L\u00f6sung zum Einsatz kommen.<\/p>\n<p>Eine m\u00f6gliche Methode zur Bek\u00e4mpfung von Unkraut im Gleisbereich ist der Einsatz eines Heisswasserspritzfahrzeuges. Die SBB hat in den vergangenen Monaten eigens ein Versuchsfahrzeug entwickelt, das \u00fcber eine Pflanzenerkennungsfunktion verf\u00fcgt und f\u00fcr die Vernichtung unerw\u00fcnschter Vegetation eingesetzt wird.<\/p>\n<p>Die SBB wird f\u00fcr die verschiedenen aktuell getesteten Verfahren der Vegetationskontrolle eine \u00d6kobilanz erstellen. Somit ist sichergestellt, dass die neuen Methoden umweltvertr\u00e4glicher sind als das bisher eingesetzte Verfahren.
