Am 17. Februar ist in der Schweiz Equal Pay Day. Der Aktionstag soll symbolisch die Lohnl\u00fccke zwischen Frauen und M\u00e4nnern sichtbar machen. Bis zu diesem Datum haben Frauen in der Schweiz rechnerisch gesehen gratis gearbeitet, wenn M\u00e4nner bereits ab dem 1. Januar bezahlt werden.<\/p>\n

Das Jobs-Netzwerk Xing hat 500 Besch\u00e4ftigte in der Deutschschweiz unter anderem zum Thema Lohn befragt und folgende geschlechterspezifische Unterschiede festgestellt:<\/p>\n

Frauen finden ihre Verg\u00fctung h\u00e4ufiger zu tief<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ein h\u00f6herer Lohn ist f\u00fcr Frauen wie f\u00fcr M\u00e4nner das wichtigste Kriterium bei der Wahl eines neuen Arbeitgebers. Mit 62 Prozent ist Frauen dieser Punkt tendenziell sogar noch etwas wichtiger als M\u00e4nnern (55 Prozent). Gleichzeitig haben Frauen mit 46 Prozent h\u00e4ufiger das Gef\u00fchl, dass ihr Lohn im Verh\u00e4ltnis zu ihrer Arbeitsleistung zu niedrig ist. Bei den M\u00e4nnern sind es 37 Prozent.<\/p>\n

Von den Frauen, die ihren Lohn zu tief empfinden, w\u00e4ren 60 Prozent bereit, ihren Arbeitgeber aus diesem Grund zu wechseln. Der Anteil bei den M\u00e4nnern ist etwa gleich hoch.<\/p>\n

Unterschiedliche Gr\u00fcnde f\u00fcr Lohnforderungen <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Auch bei den Gr\u00fcnden, warum Besch\u00e4ftigte nach einer Lohnerh\u00f6hung fragen, zeigen sich Unterschiede zwischen den Geschlechtern. 26 Prozent der M\u00e4nner st\u00fctzen sich darauf, dass ihr aktueller Lohn unter dem Marktwert liegt. Bei den Frauen sind es lediglich 16 Prozent, die einen Lohn unter Marktwert zum Anlass f\u00fcr Gehaltsverhandlungen nehmen. 9 Prozent der befragten Frauen geben an, jedes Jahr nach einer Gehaltserh\u00f6hung zu fragen. Bei den M\u00e4nnern liegt der Anteil mit 13 Prozent tendenziell etwas h\u00f6her.<\/p>\n

\u00abFrauen verdienen nicht weniger, weil ihnen der Lohn weniger wichtig w\u00e4re. Und sie w\u00fcrden genau so h\u00e4ufig wie M\u00e4nner ihren Job wegen einem zu tiefen Lohn wechseln\u00bb, sagt Sandra Bascha, Xing Kommunikationsverantwortliche f\u00fcr die Schweiz. \u00abAber weibliche Besch\u00e4ftigte tun sich schwerer damit als M\u00e4nner, die Forderung nach mehr Lohn am eigenen Marktwert festzukn\u00fcpfen. Und dies, obwohl sie h\u00e4ufiger als M\u00e4nner das Gef\u00fchl haben, dass ihre Leistung nicht gen\u00fcgend kompensiert wird.\u00bb<\/p>\n
