Den Einstieg in Abend lieferte ein Referat von PD Dr. Alexander Ilic, Co-Founder und Executive Director des ETH AI Center, welcher mit seinem Thema \u00abThe Swift Progression of GenAI\u00bb genau eine der zentralen S\u00e4ulen der T\u00e4tigkeit von digitalswitzerland beleuchtete.<\/p>\n

Doppelter F\u00fchrungswechsel<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Die Generalversammlung hat heute Andreas Meyer zum Pr\u00e4sidenten gew\u00e4hlt. Nach seiner Zeit bei ABB und DB hat er insbesondere die Digitalisierung der SBB als CEO bis 2020 vorangetrieben. Er wirkte bereits 2015 als Gr\u00fcndungsmitglied von \u00abdigitalzurich 2025\u00bb\u00a0darauf hin, dass die Standortinitiative auf die ganze Schweiz ausgeweitet wird. Zudem koordinierte er den Beirat Digitale Transformation des Bundesrats w\u00e4hrend rund drei Jahren. Er folgt auf Sascha Zahnd. Dieser f\u00fchrte als erster Pr\u00e4sident nach der Zusammenf\u00fchrung von digitalswitzerland und ICTswitzerland die Organisation mit strategisch pr\u00e4genden Impulsen durch den Wandel.<\/p>\n

Stefan Metzger, der CEO von digitalswitzerland, will sich beruflich neu orientieren. Er hat die Integration von digitalswitzerland und ICTswitzerland operativ abgeschlossen und dabei die Organisation in den letzten zwei\u00a0Jahren gepr\u00e4gt und f\u00fcr die Zukunft ger\u00fcstet. Er bleibt bis zum 31.10.2024 CEO.<\/p>\n

Franziska Barmettler wird ihr Amt als neue CEO am 1.11.2024 antreten. Die studierte \u00d6konomin wirkt seit 15 Jahren an der Schnittstelle zwischen Wirtschaft, Nachhaltigkeit und Politik. Dabei pr\u00e4gte sie Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Innovation und Nachhaltigkeit beim Wirtschaftsverband swisscleantech, der Migros und aktuell bei IKEA. Nebst Erfahrungen im Verbandsmanagement und dem Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr Zukunftsthemen und Ver\u00e4nderungsprozesse in der Wirtschaft, bringt sie als Politikerin auch praktische Legislativerfahrung mit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ab- und Zug\u00e4nge im Executive Committee<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ebenfalls Ver\u00e4nderungen erfuhr die Zusammenstellung des Executive Committees. Hier stimmte die Generalversammlung nach dem Ausscheiden von Anna Takihara, Jill K\u00fcmin und Philomena Colatrella der Neubesetzung durch Christine Antlanger-Winter und Roger S\u00fcess zu, wobei Colatrella der Organisation als Co-Lead im Bereich Digital Health erhalten bleibt. Sowohl die Best\u00e4tigung der restlichen Mitglieder des Executive Committees sowie des Steering Committees als auch die Decharge der Organe fand vollumf\u00e4ngliche Zustimmung.<\/p>\n

Digitalswitzerland dankt Sascha Zahnd und Stefan Metzger sowie allen anderen scheidenden, bleibenden und neuen Funktionstr\u00e4gern f\u00fcr ihren grossen Einsatz.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Den Abschluss des Abends machte eine Podiumsdiskussion zwischen Pietro Supino Verwaltungsratspr\u00e4sident und Verleger der TX Group und Marc Walder, Gr\u00fcnder der Standortinitiative digitalswitzerland und CEO der Ringier AG, welche sich \u00fcber den radikalen Einfluss der aktuellen Entwicklungen auf die Medienlandschaft austauschten.<\/p>\n
