Die Forschungsanstalt\u00a0Agroscope<\/a>\u00a0plant eine Versuchsstation in Sursee. Das sieht die Standortstrategie des 2014 gegr\u00fcndeten Kompetenzzentrums f\u00fcr landwirtschaftliche Forschung vor. Demnach wird Agroscope k\u00fcnftig aus einem zentralen Hauptstandort in Posieux\u00a0FR sowie je einem regionalen Forschungszentrum in Changins VD und Reckenholz ZH bestehen. Dazu kommen dezentrale Versuchsstationen. Seit dem Fr\u00fchsommer 2019 hatten mit Kantonen und Branchenorganisationen intensive Gespr\u00e4che zu den m\u00f6glichen Standorten stattgefunden.<\/p>\n

N\u00e4hrstoffemissionen ein Thema<\/strong><\/p>\n

Schwerpunkte des Standorts Sursee werden laut einer\u00a0Medienmitteilung<\/a>\u00a0des Kantons Luzern Untersuchungen zu Stickstoff und Phosphor sein. Diese Stoffe gelangen in dem Agrarkanton mit seiner intensiven Tierhaltung\u00a0vermehrt in die Umwelt. \u201eRund zehn Prozent des Rindvieh- und Gefl\u00fcgelbestandes sowie 30 Prozent des Schweinebestandes der Schweiz werden im Kanton Luzern gehalten\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt der Luzerner Landwirtschafts- und Umweltdirektor Fabian Peter. \u201eDiese vergleichsweise hohe Tierintensit\u00e4t f\u00fchrt zu entsprechenden N\u00e4hrstoffemissionen, welche f\u00fcr die Umwelt eine grosse Herausforderung darstellen.\u201c Mit der Versuchsstation in Sursee k\u00f6nnten Praxis und Forschung besser verbunden und die Herausforderungen gezielter angegangen werden.<\/p>\n

Im ersten Quartal 2020 sind Konsultationen in den Parlamentskommissionen geplant.
