(Bild: Unsplash)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die Automobilhersteller reagieren jetzt rasch auf die Corona-Krise: Volkswagen stoppt praktisch die ganze Produktion ab Mitte M\u00e4rz an fast allen Standorten, Fiat Chrysler hat alle seine Werke in Europa bereits geschlossen und im Zuge der Talfahrt an der B\u00f6rse tauchen auch die Kurse von Hersteller und Zulieferer, teilweise sogar markant. Die Corona-Krise zeigt einmal mehr, dass die Automobilindustrie besonders rasch und stark auf eine wirtschaftliche Rezession reagiert.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schweizer Autogewerbe direkt betroffen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Direkt betroffen ist damit auch das Autogewerbe in der Schweiz. W\u00e4hrend in China der Neuwagenmarkt praktisch innerhalb einer Woche zusammenbrach rechnet Ren\u00e9 Mitteregger damit, dass der Schweizer Markt erst mit Verz\u00f6gerung auf die Corona-Krise reagiert. Der Grund daf\u00fcr liegt in unserer Art des Autokaufs:<\/p>\n<p>\u00abWir Schweizer bestellen ein Auto und warten dann geduldig auf die Lieferung, die sich gelegentlich auch \u00fcber ein halbes Jahr hinziehen kann\u00bb, erkl\u00e4rt er. In China wie auch in den Vereinigten Staaten hingegen werden bereits produzierte Autos gekauft. Sollte es allerdings zu Lieferschwierigkeiten kommen, was sich aktuell auch durch die Schliessung der Werke bereits abzuzeichnen beginnt, k\u00f6nnte auch die Produktion und damit die Auslieferung gravierend betroffen sein. In diesem Fall k\u00e4me der Einbruch fr\u00fcher. Ebenfalls einen R\u00fcckgang erwartet Mitteregger f\u00fcr den Gebrauchtwagenmarkt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Corona-Krise verdr\u00e4ngt seiner Ansicht nach auch die allgemeine und aktuelle Verunsicherung rund um die Wahl der passenden Antriebstechnologie bzw. Treibstoffs. Die Kaufgewohnheiten w\u00fcrden sich kurzfristig \u00e4ndern, die Kunden w\u00fcrden in einer Krise eher dazu \u00fcbergehen, Ersparnisse zu horten. Anschaffungen, sei das in Form eines Neufahrzeugs oder einer Occasion, w\u00fcrden f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten Monate verschoben.<\/p>\n<p>Ren\u00e9 Mitteregger rechnet damit, dass die Autowelt nach Corona ohnehin nicht mehr dieselbe sein wird, weil die Krise zu einem Umdenken f\u00fchrt: \u00abMan stellt nun fest, dass einerseits die Individualmobilit\u00e4t eine L\u00f6sung ist, Menschenansammlungen aus dem Weg zu gehen\u00bb, sagt er. Anderseits werde aber ebenfalls klar, dass die vormals rege Reiset\u00e4tigkeit mit anderen L\u00f6sungen wie Homeoffice, Telefon- und Videokonferenzen zu grossen Teilen nicht n\u00f6tig sei.
