Denn die Infrastruktur, die Verarbeitung und der Transport von Briefen, Paketen und G\u00fctern verbrauchen Energie. Mit dem \u00abpro clima\u00bb-Versand der Schweizerischen Post k\u00f6nnen die entstandenen CO2-Emissionen \u00fcber einen geringen Zuschlag kompensiert werden. Panasonic bezahlt der Post einen kleinen Aufpreis und l\u00e4sst ab August 2020 jegliche Lieferungen mit dem \u00abpro clima\u00bb Label versenden. So sind nicht nur Briefe, sondern auch Pakete und G\u00fcter klimaneutral unterwegs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auswahl der Klimaschutzprojekte<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alle Klimaschutzprojekte, in die \u00abpro clima\u00bb-Beitr\u00e4ge investiert werden, entsprechen h\u00f6chsten Standards. Nationale Projekte erf\u00fcllen die Richtlinien ISO 14064-2, internationale Projekte entsprechen dem Gold Standard. Ein Begleitausschuss, bestehend aus dem WWF Schweiz, der ETH Z\u00fcrich, der Schweizerischen Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Jugendverb\u00e4nde, oikos International und der Stiftung f\u00fcr Konsumentenschutz, unterst\u00fctzt die Post bei der Vorauswahl der Projekte, die diesen Standards gen\u00fcgen. Mittels Onlinewahl bestimmen schliesslich Gesch\u00e4ftskundinnen und -kunden des Angebots \u00abpro clima\u00bb-Versand sowie Postmitarbeitende, welches internationale Projekt unterst\u00fctzt werden soll.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aktuelle Klimaschutzprojekte<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Lagerung von Hofd\u00fcnger wie G\u00fclle und Mist geh\u00f6rt zu landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben, doch sie f\u00fchrt auch zur Bildung des stark wirksamen Treibhausgases Methan. Die Post unterst\u00fctzt deshalb Biogasanlagen auf Schweizer Bauernh\u00f6fen, welche aus dem Treibhausgas W\u00e4rme und Strom erzeugen. Auch in Kambodscha unterst\u00fctzt die Post ein Klimaschutzprojekt. F\u00fcr viele Kambodschaner sind Gas und Strom leider noch immer keine Selbstverst\u00e4ndlichkeit. Die Biogasanlagen in l\u00e4ndlichen Gebieten verwerten Wasser und Viehdung zu Biogas, welches als sauberer Brennstoff genutzt werden kann: Die K\u00fcchen bleiben rauchfrei, in den Behausungen gibt es Licht, und die Atemwege der Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner werden geschont. Auch die Umwelt profitiert: Die von der Post gef\u00f6rderten Biogasanlagen senken in Kambodscha den CO2-Ausstoss Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr um \u00fcber 95&#8217;000 Tonnen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicht das erste und letzte klimafreundliche Projekt von Panasonic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Panasonic Schweiz ist die Umwelt ein grosses Anliegen. Die Firma ist stetig daran, Prozesse zu optimieren und klimafreundlicher zu gestalten. So wurde dieses Jahr die Flotte in Rotkreuz mit zehn neuen Plug-in Hybridfahrzeugen ausgestattet. \u00abF\u00fcr uns ist Nachhaltigkeit das zentrale Thema in allen Bereichen der Unternehmung. Somit war klar, dass wir uns bei der Erneuerung der Flotte f\u00fcr ein Produkt mit m\u00f6glichst geringen Emissionswerten entschieden\u00bb, sagt Philipp Maurer, Country Manager von Panasonic Schweiz.
