Im vergangenen Jahr meldeten die Suva-Versicherten rund 495\u2019000 Unf\u00e4lle und Berufskrankheiten. Der Unterschied zum Vorjahr ist mit einer gesamthaften Zunahme von 0,2 Prozent gering. Die Arbeitsunf\u00e4lle und Berufskrankheiten gingen um 3,7 Prozent auf knapp 180\u2019000 F\u00e4lle zur\u00fcck. Die Freizeitunf\u00e4lle stiegen hingegen um 2,2 Prozent auf rund 298\u202f000 F\u00e4lle. Bei den als arbeitslos gemeldeten Personen sowie bei Personen in IV-Massnahmen hat die Zahl der Unf\u00e4lle um 10,9 Prozent zugenommen. Dies kann weitestgehend mit der im Vergleich zum Vorjahr h\u00f6heren Zahl von Arbeitslosen erkl\u00e4rt werden.<\/p>\r\n

Anteil der Arbeitsunf\u00e4lle geht weiter zur\u00fcck<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

\u00abDie Unfallzahlen insgesamt sind gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr praktisch stabil geblieben\u00bb, sagt Alois F\u00e4ssler, Statistiker bei der Suva. \u00abInsbesondere der R\u00fcckgang bei den Berufsunf\u00e4llen ist erfreulich.\u00bb W\u00e4hrend Arbeitsunf\u00e4lle fr\u00fcher den gr\u00f6ssten Teil der gemeldeten Unf\u00e4lle ausmachten, registriert die Suva seit Anfang der 1990er Jahren deutlich mehr Unf\u00e4lle in der Freizeit als bei der Arbeit. Im vergangenen Jahr lag das Verh\u00e4ltnis bei 62 Prozent Freizeitunf\u00e4llen zu 38 Prozent Arbeitsunf\u00e4llen.<\/p>\r\n

\u00abDie Sicherheit bei der Arbeit hat in den letzten Jahrzehnten stark zugenommen, sei es durch kontinuierliche Pr\u00e4ventionsarbeit oder durch den R\u00fcckgang von Arbeitspl\u00e4tzen mit hohem Unfallrisiko, beispielsweise durch zunehmend automatisierte Abl\u00e4ufe\u00bb, so Alois F\u00e4ssler. \u00abDie Unfallzahlen fallen im Freizeitbereich h\u00f6her aus, weil die Menschen heute mehr Zeit in ihre aktive Freizeit und Outdoor-Aktivit\u00e4ten investieren\u00bb.<\/p>\r\n

Bei diesen Sportarten gab es am meisten Unf\u00e4lle<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

\u00dcber das ganze Jahr 2024 betrachtet, registrierte die Suva die meisten Sportunf\u00e4lle beim Fussballspielen (29\u2019000 \/ 26 % aller Sportunf\u00e4lle), beim Skifahren (14\u2019000 \/ 13 %) sowie beim Biken\/Mountainbiken (5000 \/ 4,6 %). Dabei gibt es geschlechtsspezifische Unterschiede. Bei den M\u00e4nnern entspricht die Reihenfolge der h\u00e4ufigsten Sportunf\u00e4lle dem Gesamtergebnis (Fussball (31 %), Skifahren (11 %), Biken (5 %)), w\u00e4hrend bei den Frauen die meisten Unf\u00e4lle beim Skifahren (19 %) passierten, gefolgt vom Bergwandern (8 %) und Fussballspielen (7 %, v.a. bei Frauen unter 30 Jahren). Die h\u00e4ufigsten Verletzungen betrafen Knie, Fussgelenke und Schultern.<\/p>\r\n

Unfallpr\u00e4vention zahlt sich aus<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Unf\u00e4lle verursachen neben menschlichem Leid auch hohe Kosten. Deshalb ist die Pr\u00e4vention \u2013 neben der Versicherung und der Rehabilitation \u2013 ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Leistungen der Suva. Die Suva bietet verschiedene Pr\u00e4ventionsprogramme und Beratungen im Bereich der Arbeits- und Freizeitsicherheit an, die dazu beitragen, Unf\u00e4lle und Berufskrankheiten zu verhindern. Gleichzeitig f\u00f6rdern die Massnahmen die Sicherheitskultur in Unternehmen, sensibilisieren f\u00fcr Gefahren und motivieren zur Eigenverantwortung.<\/p>\r\n
