Die Olwo AG ist ein f\u00fchrendes Produktions-, Handels- und Distributionsunternehmen in der Schweizer Holzbranche. Seit fast 100 Jahren wird das Unternehmen als Familienbetrieb gef\u00fchrt und befindet sich mittlerweile in der dritten und vierten Generation. Mit rund 200 Mitarbeitenden betreibt Olwo zwei S\u00e4gewerke in Worb und Erlenbach sowie ein Hobelwerk in Stalden. Das Unternehmen bietet ein breites Sortiment an Holzwerkstoffen an und verbindet Tradition mit modernster Technologie. Mit diesem vielseitigen Angebot ist die Olwo AG ein wichtiger Partner f\u00fcr Handwerker, Architekten und Bauherren.<\/p>\n

Holzkompetenz seit 1926<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Der Name Olwo steht f\u00fcr \u201eOtto L\u00e4drach, Worb\u201c. Was 1926 als gepachtete S\u00e4gerei in Enggistein begann, ist heute ein breit aufgestelltes Produktions- und Handelsunternehmen der Schweizer Holzbranche. In den letzten Jahrzehnten hat Olwo seine Kapazit\u00e4ten stetig erweitert, unter anderem durch den Ausbau des Standorts Erlenbach und die Integration in eine unabh\u00e4ngige Familienholding. Gleichzeitig investierte das Unternehmen kontinuierlich in die Modernisierung seiner Infrastruktur \u2013 von der Erneuerung der S\u00e4gewerke in Worb und Erlenbach bis hin zur Einf\u00fchrung digitalisierter Logistikprozesse. Im Jahr 2023 fand zudem ein F\u00fchrungswechsel statt: Nach 25 Jahren als CEO \u00fcbergab Markus L\u00e4drach die Gesch\u00e4ftsleitung an seinen Cousin Thomas L\u00e4drach.<\/p>\n

Die laufende Modernisierung der Produktionsst\u00e4tten optimiert die gesamte Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette. Zudem erm\u00f6glichen digitale Logistikl\u00f6sungen eine pr\u00e4zise Steuerung der Prozesse \u2013 von der Rohstoffbeschaffung bis zur Auslieferung. Langfristige Lieferantenbeziehungen sichern die Rohstoffversorgung aus nahe gelegenen, rohstoffreichen Waldgebieten.<\/p>\n

Nachhaltigkeit und Zukunftsstrategie<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Die Olwo AG setzt auf einen verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit Holz, moderne Produktionsmethoden und erneuerbare Energien. Das Unternehmen verwendet Schweizer Holz aus nachhaltiger Waldwirtschaft und nutzt Holz sowie Solarstrom f\u00fcr eine ressourcenschonende Energiegewinnung. Im Rahmen einer Zielvereinbarung mit der act Cleantech Agentur Schweiz hat sich Olwo verpflichtet, den Energieverbrauch und die CO\u2082-Emissionen zu senken. F\u00fcr diese Anstrengungen wurde das Unternehmen ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n
