M\u00f6glich macht dies angeblich eine Selbstheiz-Technologie, mit der sich der Akku auf optimale Betriebstemperatur bringt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heizen ist Trumpf<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00abWir haben eine ziemlich clevere Batterie f\u00fcr Massenmarkt-E-Autos entwickelt, bei Kostenparit\u00e4t mit Verbrennungsfahrzeugen\u00bb, sagt Chao-Yang Wang, Professor f\u00fcr Chemietechnik, Materialwissenschaft und -technik. Die Rede ist von 400 km Reichweite, Laden in zehn Minuten und eine Lebensdauer von \u00fcber 3,2 Mio. km. Wie die Forscher in \u00abNature Energy\u00bb berichten, macht das eine Selbstheiz-Technologie m\u00f6glich, mit der sich der Akku schnell auf 60 Grad Celsius erw\u00e4rmt \u2013 die optimale Temperatur zum Be- und Entladen.<\/p>\n<p>Das schnelle Aufheizen des Akkus auf Betriebstemperatur erm\u00f6glicht eine d\u00fcnne Nickel-Folie. Bei Stromfluss erhitzt sich diese aufgrund elektrischen Widerstands schnell und heizt so das Innere der Batterie. Sind die 60 Grad erreicht, ist der Akku f\u00fcr den Betrieb mit schnellem Auf- oder Entladen bereit. Wangs Team zufolge sollte es dank dieser Technologie m\u00f6glich sein, f\u00fcr den Akku g\u00fcnstige Elektroden-Materialien \u2013 Lithium-Eisenphosphat sowie Graphit \u2013 und sichere Elektrolyte zu nutzen. Dies mache die Batterie laut Wang g\u00fcnstig, leicht und kompakt \u2013 und damit ideal f\u00fcr den Massenmarkt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schnellstart m\u00f6glich<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Laut Wang sollten relativ kompakte Akkus 40 Kilowattstunden Kapazit\u00e4t und 300 Kilowatt Leistung erreichen. Ein E-Auto w\u00e4re demnach in der Lage, in rund drei Sekunden von Null auf 100 zu beschleunigen und liesse sich somit wie ein Porsche fahren. \u00abDamit werden wir die Umwelt ver\u00e4ndern und nicht nur Luxusautos beisteuern\u00bb, betont der Wissenschaftler.
