„bike to work“ reiht 2018 einen Rekord neben den anderen:\u00a0 durchschnittlich sind dieses Jahr die Betriebe zwei Monate bei der Aktion von Pro Velo Schweiz mitgefahren. So nahmen 51 Prozent der Betriebe im Mai & Juni teil. Dies zeigt sich auch in der Rekordzahl der zur\u00fcckgelegten Kilometer von 15,9 Millionen (+26%).<\/p>\n

Durchschnittlich fuhr jede und jeder Teilnehmende 247 Kilometer an 19 Tagen mit dem Velo zur Arbeit.<\/p>\n

Grosser Erfolg<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00abDer Erfolg von bike to work zeigt, wie wichtig in Zukunft das Velo f\u00fcr Unternehmen ist. So investieren Unternehmen vermehrt in das Velo als Mobilit\u00e4tsmittel, da es positive Effekte auf die Gesundheit der Mitarbeitenden, Sparpotential in der Infrastruktur und eine effiziente Mobilit\u00e4t innerhalb von Agglomerationen mit sich bringt.\u00bb sagt Matthias Aebischer, Pr\u00e4sident von Pro Velo Schweiz.<\/p>\n

Besonders viele Teilnehmende verzeichnete bike to work in den Agglomerationen Z\u00fcrich, Bern und Lausanne. Das Velo ist heutzutage in den urbanen Zentren der Schweiz weit mehr als nur Fortbewegungsmittel \u2013 es ist Lifestyle, Statement und Spass zugleich. Dank bike to work fanden zahlreiche Erstteilnehmer den Zugang zum Velo und liessen sich f\u00fcr die Veloaktion begeistern. So zeigten sie sich \u00fcberrascht, wie einfach der Weg mit dem Velo zur Arbeit ist und welch positiven Effekt das Velofahren mit sich bringt.<\/p>\n

Isabelle K. aus Baden fuhr in diesem Jahr zum ersten Mal mit: \u00abDas Gef\u00fchl am fr\u00fchen Morgen mit dem Velo auf den stillen Strassen zur Arbeit zu fahren ist einmalig. Die Bewegung weckt und zugleich habe ich eine erste Sporteinheit absolviert. Und: bike to work sch\u00e4rft die Sinne. Auf einmal nimmt man Sachen wahr, die vorher gar nicht existent waren. Ich kann bike to work wirklich jedem weiterempfehlen \u2013 es ist eine tolle Erfahrung, die Bewegung und Spass in den Alltag bringt.\u00bb<\/p>\n

Erfolgreiche Gesundheitsf\u00f6rderung f\u00fcr Betriebe<\/strong><\/p>\n

bike to work steht f\u00fcr mehr Bewegung im Arbeitstag. Wer mit dem Velo zur Arbeit f\u00e4hrt, hat einen Teil der empfohlenen t\u00e4glichen Bewegung bereits erledigt. Gesundheitsf\u00f6rdernde Massnahmen im Betrieb, zu denen auch bike to work geh\u00f6rt, sind zudem von wirtschaftlicher Bedeutung. Ges\u00fcndere Mitarbeitende fallen seltener aus und sind leistungsf\u00e4higer. Kosten, die durch Erkrankungen entstehen, k\u00f6nnen so gesenkt werden.<\/p>\n
