Mitarbeitender pr\u00fcft ein Werkst\u00fcck an einer Produktionsanlage: Vor Einf\u00fchrung des MES mussten die pro Maschine produzierten St\u00fcckzahlen aufw\u00e4ndig in Excel-Listen erfasst werden. \u00a9 medmix<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Wer regelm\u00e4ssig zum Zahnarzt geht, ist mit den Produkten der medmix Switzerland AG vielleicht schon in Ber\u00fchrung gekommen \u2013 und zwar im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Die Spritzen und Kan\u00fclen, in denen sich Pasten, Gelees und F\u00fcllungen f\u00fcr die Zahnbehandlung befinden, sind von medmix. Das Unternehmen ist f\u00fchrender Anbieter in Herstellung und Vertrieb von Produkten zum Dosieren, exakten Mischen und punktgenauen Auftragen. Zum Einsatz kommen die hochpr\u00e4zise arbeitenden Erzeugnisse in der Medizin, im Healthcare- und Beautybereich sowie der Industrie- und Baubranche.<\/p>\n

Damit sie sicher und zuverl\u00e4ssig funktionieren, m\u00fcssen alle Teile detailgenau gearbeitet sein. Ein hoher Anspruch an die Fertigung. Kritische Parameter wie Beschaffenheit der Rohstoffe, Homogenit\u00e4t der Werkstoffmischungen, Temperaturen, Druck in der Spritzgussform sowie Qualit\u00e4t der Form und Abk\u00fchlvorgang sind exakt aufeinander abzustimmen. Jeder Fehler bedeutet: Maschine anhalten, fehlerhafte Teile aussortieren und die Anlage neu justieren. Das kostet viel Zeit und Geld.<\/p>\n

Aufgabe und L\u00f6sung<\/h3>\n

Um das zu vermeiden, war den Verantwortlichen bei medmix klar, dass sie eine L\u00f6sung brauchen, die den Fertigungsprozess transparent macht und Daten nicht nur erfasst, sondern auch analysiert und kontrolliert. Wichtig war dem Team vor allem, dass sich die L\u00f6sung \u00fcber standardisierte Schnittstellen an das SAP-System anbinden l\u00e4sst und durchdachte Planungsfunktionen bietet. Ausserdem sollte sich das Manufacturing Execution System (MES) einfach bedienen lassen. Und das Unternehmen, mit dem sie zusammenarbeiten, sollte Dependancen in Asien haben.<\/p>\n

\u00abIm Vorfeld haben wir daher viele Optionen diskutiert und uns verschiedene Anbieter angesehen. Doch bei MPDV passte einfach das Gesamtpaket\u00bb, sagt Ronny Graf, Abteilungsleiter Injection-Moulding am Standort Haag in der Schweiz.<\/p>\n

Roll-out Schritt f\u00fcr Schritt<\/h3>\n

Die Einf\u00fchrung lief von Anfang an rund \u2013 und schnell. Vom Kick-off bis zum Go-Live vergingen nur neun Monate. Das Team um Graf f\u00fchrte die einzelnen Module etappenweise ein. In Phase eins implementierten sie am Hauptstandort Haag zun\u00e4chst die drei Module Leitstand (HLS), Betriebsdaten (BDE) sowie Werkzeug- und Ressourcenmanagement (WRM). In Phase zwei kam zus\u00e4tzlich das Modul Maschinendaten (MDE) hinzu. Am Standort Haag sind 120 Spritzgussmaschinen und 42 Montageautomaten an HYDRA angebunden. Inzwischen setzen auch der Standort in Shanghai und der in Wroclaw, Polen, das MES ein.<\/p>\n

Doch nicht nur die Kunden, auch die Mitarbeiter lernten schnell die Vorz\u00fcge der Produktions-Software zu sch\u00e4tzen. Dank der Module HLS, BDE und MDE k\u00f6nnen sie \u00fcber ein Terminal an der Maschine verschiedene Produktionszahlen wie Ausschuss oder St\u00fcckzahl in Echtzeit erfassen und vergleichen. Und das Modul HYDRA-HLS erm\u00f6glicht einen 360\u00b0-Blick auf alle ben\u00f6tigten Ressourcen. So l\u00e4sst sich etwa die Fertigung \u00fcber den Leitstand proaktiv steuern und bis ins kleinste Detail genau planen. Damit hat der Mitarbeitende alle wichtigen Ressourcen im Blick, und die Facharbeiterinnen oder -arbeiter k\u00f6nnen schnell auf den Ausfall einer Maschine reagieren.<\/p>\n

Sp\u00fcrbare Steigerung der Effizienz<\/h3>\n

\u00abDurch HYDRA k\u00f6nnen wir solche Stillst\u00e4nde heute auf ein Minimum reduzieren oder sogar ganz vermeiden. Denn Prozessschritte wie Planung, Beschaffung, Maschineneinstellung, Betrieb, Wartung und Qualit\u00e4tskontrolle lassen sich optimal aufeinander abstimmen\u00bb, erkl\u00e4rt Ronny Graf weiter.<\/p>\n

Das MES wiederum meldet die Zahl der tats\u00e4chlich produzierten Teile sowie den Status der Maschine zur\u00fcck. Ist bei einer Maschine der Output geringer als geplant, lassen sich Auftr\u00e4ge rasch auf andere Maschinen verteilen und Liefertermine wie geplant einhalten. Zuvor mussten Mitarbeiter die pro Maschine produzierten St\u00fcckzahlen aufw\u00e4ndig in Excel-Listen erfassen. Das kostete viel Zeit und wenn eine Maschine ausfiel, fehlte es an Flexibilit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n

Besonders die perfekte Kommunikation zwischen dem ERP-System und HYDRA bringt viele Vorteile mit sich. Schliesslich kann die Planungsabteilung so direkt die Fertigungsauftr\u00e4ge an die Produktion \u00fcbermitteln und schnell auf Ver\u00e4nderungen reagieren.<\/p>\n
