Der langj\u00e4hrige Pr\u00e4sident von swissICT, Thomas Flatt, gibt seinen R\u00fccktritt bekannt. Flatt pr\u00e4gte den gr\u00f6ssten Schweizer ICT-Fachverband \u00fcber mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte und \u00fcberf\u00fchrte swissICT in die Rolle einer breit vernetzten, in Politik und Wirtschaft sichtbaren Stimme der Digitalbranche.<\/p>\n

Viele Allianzen geschmiedet<\/h3>\n

Seit swissICT vor 25 Jahren aus der Fusion von SVD und WIF hervorgegangen ist, pr\u00e4gte Flatt die Entwicklung des Verbandes, erst als Vorstandsmitglied im Strategieausschuss und seit 2004 als dessen Pr\u00e4sident. Er engagierte sich von Beginn weg f\u00fcr ein Zusammenr\u00fccken der Branchenverb\u00e4nde, war Gr\u00fcndungsmitglied und Vizepr\u00e4sident von ICT Switzerland, die sp\u00e4ter mit digitalswitzerland fusioniert wurde. Er schmiedete Allianzen mit Verb\u00e4nden und Organisationen wie asut, swico, CH Open, ISSS, der Schweizerischen Informatik Gesellschaft und vielen mehr.<\/p>\n

Die Fachgruppen von swissICT haben stark an Gewicht gewonnen und sich mit der Ver\u00e4nderung der Digitalen Landschaft Schweiz sowohl quantitativ als auch qualitativ ausgezeichnet entwickelt. Heute sind diese die wohl gr\u00f6sste Erfahrungs- und Wissensaustauschplattform der Schweiz.<\/p>\n

Verband auch operativ gef\u00fchrt<\/h3>\n

Auch bei der Entwicklung der Berufsbildung im ICT Sektor spielte er eine Schl\u00fcsselrolle. Die Vorg\u00e4ngerorganisation von ICT Berufsbildung Schweiz (I-CH) wurde unter seiner F\u00fchrung als Aktiengesellschaft in den Verband \u00fcbernommen, wurde stabilisiert und bildete die Basis f\u00fcr den neu gegr\u00fcndeten nationalen Verband. Auch dort war Flatt Gr\u00fcndungsmitglied. Kurzzeitig hat Flatt die operative F\u00fchrung von swissICT im Jahr 2017 \u00fcbernommen, als die Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung vakant war, und damit sein Engagement auch in schwierigen Zeiten unterstrichen.<\/p>\n

Besonders stolz sei er auch auf die Entwicklung des Digital Economy Award. Dieser hat eine lange Tradition und wurde ausgehend vom Swiss IT Award im Jahr 2004, \u00fcber den Swiss ICT Award und heute als Digital Economy Award mit unterschiedlichen Partnern entwickelt. Immer war swissICT mit- oder hauptverantwortlich f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung. W\u00e4hrend seiner gesamten Pr\u00e4sidentschaft hat Flatt diese Aufgabe im Nebenamt wahrgenommen w\u00e4hrend er hauptberuflich in der Gruppenleitung von Swisscom, der Konzernleitung von Adecco und als Unternehmer, CEO oder Verwaltungsrat in mittelst\u00e4ndischen Unternehmen aktiv war.<\/p>\n

Auf unternehmerische T\u00e4tigkeiten konzentrieren<\/h3>\n

Auf diese unternehmerischen T\u00e4tigkeiten und Verwaltungsratsmandate m\u00f6chte sich Flatt in Zukunft wieder st\u00e4rker konzentrieren, weshalb er nun nach rund 25 Jahren seine Aufgaben in der Verbandslandschaft ab- bzw. weitergeben m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n

\u201eIch freue mich sehr, dass wir mit Claude Honegger eine interne L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr meine Nachfolge gefunden haben. Claude hat mehr als 30 Jahre Erfahrung in der Leitung globaler Technologie-Organisationen und ist als langj\u00e4hriger swissICT Vorstand und Pr\u00e4sident unserer Expertenkommission und Fachgruppen eine ideale Besetzung und mein Wunschkandidat f\u00fcr dieses Amt\u201c, meint Thomas Flatt zu diesem Vorschlag.<\/p>\n
