Vom 25. bis 27. November 2025 versammelte die EUPD Group, ein auf Nachhaltigkeit spezialisiertes Marktforschungs- und Beratungsunternehmen aus Bonn, im Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg f\u00fchrende Fachleute, um \u00fcber aktuelle Herausforderungen in der europ\u00e4ischen Nachhaltigkeitspolitik zu diskutieren. In einem Umfeld, in dem regulatorische Vorgaben unter Druck geraten und Initiativen teils zur\u00fcckgefahren werden, sollte die ESW Nachhaltigkeit als gesch\u00e4ftskritische Notwendigkeit und nicht als Luxus positionieren.\u200b<\/p>\r\n

ESG Summit 2025 als Herzst\u00fcck<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

H\u00f6hepunkt der Woche war der ESG Summit 2025 am 26. November mit Fachvortr\u00e4gen und interaktiven Panels in sechs Themenbl\u00f6cken, unter anderem zu sozialer Nachhaltigkeit, Finanzierung im Umbruch, neuen Berichtstandards und dem Potenzial von KI in der ESG-Berichterstattung. F\u00fchrende ESG-Stimmen aus Europa teilten ihre Einsch\u00e4tzungen und betonten, wie wichtig Vernetzung und Austausch f\u00fcr glaubw\u00fcrdige und wirksame Nachhaltigkeitsstrategien sind.\u200b<\/p>\r\n

Ein zentrales Querschnittsthema war der rasante Fortschritt von K\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz und seine Bedeutung f\u00fcr Datenqualit\u00e4t, Wirkungsmessung und F\u00fchrungskultur. In einem prominent besetzten Roundtable zur Dekarbonisierung der europ\u00e4ischen Industrie diskutierten unter anderem Robert Habeck, Vertreterinnen und Vertreter von Goldbeck Solar, T\u00dcV Rheinland, Deutscher Telekom und der Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t Bochum \u00fcber die realen Kosten von Unsicherheit im Vergleich zu konsequenter Emissionsminderung.\u200b<\/p>\r\n

Preise f\u00fcr Transparenz, Energiewende und Corporate Health<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Begleitet wurde die Konferenz von Break-out-Sessions, einer Fachausstellung und mehreren Preisverleihungen, darunter der ESG Transparency Award, der Energiewende Award und der SolarProsumerAward f\u00fcr besonders transparente und zukunftsorientierte Unternehmen. Bereits am 25. November wurden bei einer Galadinner-Veranstaltung zudem die Gewinner des renommierten Corporate Health Award geehrt, der vorbildliches betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement auszeichnet und die wachsende soziale Bedeutung gesunder Arbeitsbedingungen unterstreicht.\u200b<\/p>\r\n

Unternehmen sehen Nachhaltigkeit als Wettbewerbsfaktor<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

EUPD-Group-CEO Markus A.W. Hoehner berichtete von wachsender Verunsicherung im Markt \u00fcber die Rolle von ESG, sieht aber gleichzeitig eine steigende Zahl von Unternehmen, die Nachhaltigkeit strategisch im Kerngesch\u00e4ft verankern wollen, um wettbewerbsf\u00e4hig zu bleiben. Die European Sustainability Week solle diese Entwicklung unterst\u00fctzen, kritische Fragen stellen und den branchen\u00fcbergreifenden Dialog weiter vorantreiben \u2013 mit einer Fortsetzung im Rahmen der ESW 2026.<\/p>\r\n
