Der Veranstaltungsort in der Trafohalle in Baden war nicht zuf\u00e4llig gew\u00e4hlt. 1919 wurden dort von der damaligen BBC (heute ABB) Transformatoren hergestellt. Und die BBC war es auch, die am 2. Juli 1919 zusammen mit anderen altehrw\u00fcrdigen Schweizer Industrieunternehmen wie Sulzer oder Escher-Wyss die \u00abSchweizer Normalien-Kommission\u00bb gr\u00fcndete. Der Zweck: Standards zu schaffen, die \u00fcberall in der Industrie G\u00fcltigkeit haben.<\/p>\n

Normen m\u00f6gen f\u00fcr viele ein trockenes, b\u00fcrokratisches Thema sein. Stefan Ramseier, Chef beim ABB-Forschungszentrum in Baden-D\u00e4ttwil, unterstrich denn auch in seinem Grusswort die Notwendigkeit von Kommunikation, wenn es um die Umsetzung von notwendigen Standards gehe, die letztlich alle das Ziel haben, unser Leben zu erleichtern. Rund 26000 Normen gelten heute, 1000 davon sind reine Schweizer Normen.<\/p>\n

5G-Standard f\u00fcr die weitere Vernetzung<\/h2>\n

Dass Normen keine starren Systeme sind, sondern einem stetigen Wandel unterworfen sind, wurde am Jubil\u00e4umsanlass der SNV in vier \u00abInspiration Sessions\u00bb gezeigt \u2013 jede davon in einem anderen Raum. Das Publikum musste sich also bewegen \u2013 wie es auch die industrielle Entwicklung tut. Ein Treiber der technologischen Entwicklung \u2013 und auch ein Resultat derselben \u2013 ist etwa der 5G-Mobilfunkstandard, den Matthias Jungen von der Swisscom erl\u00e4uterte. 5G bildet nicht nur die technologische Voraussetzung f\u00fcr das Internet der Dinge, also etwa die Machine-to-Machine-Kommunikation, sondern er\u00f6ffnet auch sonst neue und flexiblere M\u00f6glichkeiten der Daten\u00fcbertragung, etwa durch sog. \u00abNetwork Slicing\u00bb, womit bestimmte Netzwerkbereiche zweckgebunden reserviert werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Kein „Innovationstheater“<\/h2>\n

Viel wird auch \u00fcber Innovation gesprochen im Zusammenhang mit der Digitalisierung. Jean-Philippe Hagmann entlarvte dabei vieles als reines, wenn auch h\u00e4ufig unbeabsichtigtes, \u00abInnovationstheater\u00bb. Viele dieser \u00abInnovation Labs\u00bb oder \u00abDigital Hubs\u00bb seien \u00abbloss Kulisse\u00bb, so Hagmann, der dazu auch ein Buch geschrieben hat. Er ortet in vielen Unternehmen Nachholbedarf in Sachen Innovationsf\u00e4higkeit. Anstelle von \u00abIdeen\u00bb gehe es besser um \u00abEntdeckungen\u00bb. Es ben\u00f6tige ein besseres Verst\u00e4ndnis des Innovationsprozesses: \u00abDas richtige \u2018es\u2019 machen, bevor man \u2018es\u2019 richtig macht\u00bb, so der Referent. Wichtig sei es auch zu kl\u00e4ren, wer welche Rolle in diesem \u00abInnovationstheater\u00bb spielen soll. Als entscheidend sieht Hagmann hier den \u00abBr\u00fcckenbauer\u00bb, also jene Rolle, die daf\u00fcr sorgt, dass sich Avantgardisten und Enabler in einer Organisation auch richtig verstehen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Von Drohnen und Robotern<\/h2>\n

In der grossen Halle ging es dann um eine Innovation, die sich zum Teil l\u00e4ngst etabliert hat: Um Drohnen. Diese werden heute bereits vielf\u00e4ltig eingesetzt: Als Transportmittel, als Instrument f\u00fcr die \u00dcberwachung \u2013 \u00fcberall dort, wo mit geringem Aufwand Bed\u00fcrfnisse aus der Luft abgedeckt werden m\u00fcssen. Indes: Mit den Drohnen sind auch neue Risiken entstanden, wie Dominique C. Brack in seiner Pr\u00e4sentation eindr\u00fccklich darlegte. Spionage, ja das Lahmlegen ganzer Flugh\u00e4fen, wie unl\u00e4ngst bei London Gatwick geschehen, sind Szenarien unerw\u00fcnschter Drohneneins\u00e4tze. Abwehrmassnahmen daf\u00fcr sind noch wenig ausgereift, wie Dominique C. Brack anhand einer \u00abAbschuss\u00fcbung\u00bb demonstrierte: Zwei Teilnehmenden gelang es nicht – trotz ansprechender Zielgenauigkeit – eine Spielzeugdrohne mit Spielzeuggewehren abzuschiessen…<\/p>\n

Robotik und Elektromobilit\u00e4t waren die Themen der letzten \u00abInspiration Session\u00bb. Andreas Hufschmid und Adrian Wachholz zeigten, wie etwa die ABB in beiden Gebieten bereits Technologien bereitstellt, welche in der Industrie und im Verkehrswesen Anwendung finden. Immer angeleitet vom Ziel: Ressourcen \u2013 seien menschliche oder nat\u00fcrliche \u2013 zu schonen.<\/p>\n

Nach so viel \u00abInspiration\u00bb fand der Jubil\u00e4umsanlass der SNV mit einer eindrucksvollen Lightpainting-Show des Lichtk\u00fcnstlers Alex Dowis aus Prag und einem „Food Festival“ seinen Abschluss.<\/p>\n
