(Grafik: Swissmechanic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die Quartalsbefragung von Swissmechanic, dem f\u00fchrenden Verband der Schweizer KMU-MEM, zeigt, dass sich die Gesch\u00e4ftslage der befragten Unternehmen zwischen April und Oktober 2019 signifikant verschlechtert hat. \u00dcberwogen im Fr\u00fchling noch die Optimisten, waren es im Herbst die Pessimisten. Auch Anfang 2020 wird die Lage mehrheitlich negativ eingesch\u00e4tzt, allerdings etwas weniger stark als noch im Oktober, wie aus dem aktuellen Wirtschaftsbarometer hervorgeht.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Schwacher Auftragseingang f\u00fcr die MEM-Branche<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00abNebst dem starken Franken ist der schwache Auftragseingang derzeit die gr\u00f6sste Herausforderung\u00bb, sagt J\u00fcrg Marti, Direktor Swissmechanic. So melden 62 Prozent der Unternehmen im vierten Quartal 2019 einen Auftragsr\u00fcckgang und nur 15 Prozent eine Steigerung. Diese Entwicklung spiegelt sich in sinkenden Ums\u00e4tzen und Margen wider. Zudem werden zunehmend Anpassungen des Personalbestandes in Betracht gezogen. (Grafik: Swissmechanic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Von zwei Seiten unter Druck gesetzt<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Die Konjunktur der Schweizer MEM-Branche wird prim\u00e4r von politischen Unsicherheiten im Ausland eingetr\u00fcbt. Versch\u00e4rft wird die Situation von der Schw\u00e4che des Hauptabsatzmarktes EU und dem starken Franken. Swissmechanic fordert die Schweizerische Nationalbank (SNB) dazu auf, an ihrem eingeschlagenen Kurs festzuhalten und weiterhin konsequent und mit Vehemenz daf\u00fcr zu sorgen, dass der Schweizer Franken nicht noch st\u00e4rker wird, sondern sich im Gegenteil abschw\u00e4cht. Dadurch leistet die SNB einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur St\u00e4rkung der hiesigen Wirtschaft. Dies ist zwingend n\u00f6tig, weil die Unternehmen der MEM-Branche aufgrund des starken Frankens und der schwachen Auftragseing\u00e4nge gleichsam von zwei Seiten unter Druck gesetzt werden.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Entspannungstendenzen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>BAK Economics geht davon aus, dass sich die j\u00fcngsten Entspannungstendenzen beim Handelskonflikt USA\/China und Brexit im Laufe des Jahres fortsetzen. Sp\u00e4testens 2021 kann die MEM-Branche deshalb mit einer anziehenden ausl\u00e4ndischen Nachfrage rechnen. In der Schweiz ist bereits 2020 eine Erholung der Ausr\u00fcstungsinvestitionen zu erwarten, weil mit der Annahme der Steuerreform und AHV-Finanzierung (STAF) ein wesentlicher Unsicherheitsfaktor weggefallen ist.
