Die Nachfrage nach Bio-Produkten nimmt weiterhin zu, immer mehr Produzentinnen und Produzenten wirtschaften biologisch, die Biofl\u00e4che w\u00e4chst, und inzwischen liegen aus 179 L\u00e4ndern Zahlen zum Biolandbau vor. Das zeigt die j\u00fcngste Ausgabe der Studie \u201eThe World of Organic Agriculture\u201c. Dieses statistische Jahrbuch zum weltweiten Biolandbau wird von <a href=\"\/\/www.fibl.org\/de\/startseite.html\">FiBL <\/a>und IFOAM \u2013 Organics International gemeinsam herausgegeben. Das Jahrbuch wird vom Schweizer Staatssekretariat f\u00fcr Wirtschaft SECO, dem International Trade Centre (ITC) und der N\u00fcrnbergMesse unterst\u00fctzt. Im Folgenden eine Auswahl der neuesten Zahlen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Der globale Biomarkt w\u00e4chst<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Das Marktforschungsunternehmen Organic Monitor beziffert den globalen Markt f\u00fcr Bioprodukte 2015 auf 81,6 Milliarden US-Dollar (ca. 75 Milliarden Euro). Der gr\u00f6sste Markt sind die Vereinigten Staaten (35,9 Milliarden Euro), gefolgt von Deutschland (8,6 Milliarden Euro) und Frankreich (5,5 Milliarden Euro). Auch 2015 verzeichneten wichtige M\u00e4rkte ein zweistelliges Wachstum. Der h\u00f6chste Pro-Kopf-Verbrauch war mit 262 Euro in der Schweiz, der h\u00f6chste Biomarktanteil in D\u00e4nemark (8,4 Prozent).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00dcber zwei Millionen Bio-Produzenten<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Es gibt 2,4 Millionen Bio-Produzenten weltweit. Wie in den Vorjahren sind die L\u00e4nder mit den meisten Produzentinnen und Produzenten Indien (585\u2019200), \u00c4thiopien (203\u2019602) und Mexiko (200\u2019039).<\/p>\n<p><strong>50,9 Millionen Hektar Biolandwirtschaftsfl\u00e4che<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>50,9 Millionen Hektar Landwirtschaftsfl\u00e4che wurden Ende 2015 biologisch bewirtschaftet. Das sind fast 6,5 Millionen Hektar mehr als 2014. Ausser in Lateinamerika ist die Biofl\u00e4che in allen Kontinenten gewachsen.<\/p>\n<p>45 Prozent der globalen Biofl\u00e4che liegen in Ozeanien (22,8 Millionen Hektar), gefolgt von Europa (25 Prozent; 12,7 Millionen Hektar) und Lateinamerika (13 Prozent; 6,7 Millionen Hektar). Australien ist das Land mit der gr\u00f6ssten Biolandbaufl\u00e4che (22,7 Millionen Hektar), gefolgt von Argentinien (3,1 Millionen Hektar) und den Vereinigten Staaten (2 Millionen Hektar).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elf L\u00e4nder mit einem Biofl\u00e4chenanteil von mindestens 10 Prozent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die L\u00e4nder mit dem h\u00f6chsten Bioanteil an der Landwirtschaftsfl\u00e4che sind Liechtenstein (30,2 Prozent), \u00d6sterreich (21,3 Prozent) und Schweden (16,9 Prozent).
