Juni im Hallenstadion Z\u00fcrich rund 270 Mitglieder, G\u00e4ste und Mitarbeiter. Mit einer Lichtshow von Oleg Basanov wurde der \u00dcbergang k\u00fcnstlerisch begleitet und die neue Marke mit einem Countdown feierlich willkommen geheissen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Im Zeichen des Frankenschocks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der Schock habe tief gesessen, als die Nationalbank Anfang 2015 den Frankenmindestkurs gegen\u00fcber dem Euro aufgehoben, erkl\u00e4rten SMU-Zentralpr\u00e4sident Hans Kunz und der Pr\u00e4sident des Fachverbandes Metallbau, Artho Marquart, am Donnerstag, 16. Juni, an einer Standortbestimmung vor den Medien in Z\u00fcrich. Die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit der Schweizer Metallbau-Unternehmen sei anschliessend generll gesunken und der Druck von ausl\u00e4ndischen Unternehmen auf den Markt gewaltig gewachsen. So haben laut Kunz 2015 insgesamt bereits 1216 ausl\u00e4ndische Unternehmen Auftr\u00e4ge in der Metallbaubranche ausgef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bildung, Prozessoptimierung und Sozialpartnerschaft<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr den SMU-Zentralpr\u00e4sidenten war klar, dass Betriebe, die regelm\u00e4ssig in Innovationen und Weiterbildung investierten sowie die Kosten im Griff h\u00e4tten, den dynamischen Herausforderungen des Wettbewerbs gewachsen seien. Um erfolgreich zu bleiben, seien sowohl im Metallbau, wie in der Lnadtechnik unternehmerische Kreativit\u00e4t, Differenzierung durch einen Wiessensvorsprung, Besetzung von Nischen, Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit und eine permanente innerbetriebliche Prozessoptimierung gefordert. Die 1860 aktiven Mitgliederbetriebe seien heute sehr fit, fundiert beraten durch den Verband und sie \u00fcberlegten sich sehr\u00a0 gut, wo sie erfolgreich Geld investierten, erg\u00e4nzte SMU-Direktor Christoph Andenmatten. F\u00fcr ihn ist jedoch gegenw\u00e4rtig der geeignete Nachwuchs in beiden Branchen eine der gr\u00f6ssten Herausforderungen. Der Verband unternehmen verschiedenste Anstrenungen, damit geeignete Jugendliche f\u00fcr die Berufe gefunden werden, erkl\u00e4rte Andematten. Die Ausbildung im Metallbau und in der Landtechnik findet k\u00fcnftig im neuen gemeinsamen Ausbildungszentrum in Aarberg statt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Die neue Dachmarke AM Suisse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Als innovativer und zeitgem\u00e4sser Verband ist es f\u00fcr Zentralpr\u00e4sident Hans Kunz wichtig, \u00fcber eine einpr\u00e4gsame Marke klar wahrgenommen zu werden. In diesem Sinne engagiert sich die SMU neu als &#8222;AM Suisse&#8220; intensiv f\u00fcr die Mitglieder und leistet mit motivierten Mitarbeitenden professionelle Netzwerkarbeit f\u00fcr alle gemeinsamen Verbandsaufgaben. Seit dem 17.
