Das B\u00fcrohaus wird zum Solarkraftwerk, der Recycling-Beton wird zum CO2<\/sub>-Speicher, aus Abfall werden Treibstoff und Parf\u00fcm: Die Kreativit\u00e4t der Schweizer und Liechtensteiner KMU zum Schutz des Klimas haben auch im anspruchsvollen 2020 nicht nachgelassen. Die Klimastiftung Schweiz hat erneut zahlreiche F\u00f6rderantr\u00e4ge erhalten. Rund 5 Millionen Franken F\u00f6rderung f\u00fcr Klimaschutzprojekte haben Stiftungs- und Beirat im Jahr 2020 gesprochen. Das sind 16 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr.<\/p>\n

Innovative Technologien im Zentrum der F\u00f6rderung\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Der gr\u00f6sste Teil der F\u00f6rdersumme\u00a0floss\u00a0auch 2020 in den Innovationsbereich: Insgesamt 23\u00a0Projekte k\u00f6nnen neu auf die Unterst\u00fctzung der\u00a0Stiftung\u00a0z\u00e4hlen, im Umfang von insgesamt 2.7\u00a0Millionen Franken. Unter den gef\u00f6rderten Innovationen finden sich etwa eine Technologie zur Speicherung von CO2<\/sub>\u00a0in Recyclingbeton (neustark<\/a>), neuartige Verfahren zur Herstellung von nachhaltigem Isolationsmaterial aus Asche (FenX<\/a>) oder zur Umwandlung von Pflanzenabf\u00e4llen in hochwertige Chemikalien als Alternative zu Erd\u00f6l (Bloom\u00a0Biorenewables<\/a>)\u00a0sowie\u00a0eine CO2<\/sub>-neutrale Beheizung von Gew\u00e4chsh\u00e4usern mit organischen Fettabf\u00e4llen (Oekokraft).<\/p>\n

\u201cWollen wir die nationalen Klimaziele erreichen, sind wir auf solche zukunftsweisenden Technologien gerade im Geb\u00e4ude- und Landwirtschaftsbereich sowie der Kreislaufwirtschaft dringend angewiesen\u201d, sagt Thomas H\u00fcgli, Stiftungsratspr\u00e4sident der Klimastiftung Schweiz. \u201cEs wird nicht ausreichen, dass die Wirtschaft ihre CO2-Emissionen reduziert oder kompensiert. Wir b\u00fcndeln deshalb die Kr\u00e4fte der einzelnen Partnerunternehmen in der gemeinsamen Stiftung, um die F\u00f6rderung von Klima-Innovationen effizient und fokussiert weiter auszubauen\u201d.<\/p>\n

Mehr als doppelt so viele gef\u00f6rderte Klimaschutzprojekte als im Vorjahr\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Auch\u00a0\u00fcber\u00a0350 Energieeffizienzprojekte erhalten k\u00fcnftig Unterst\u00fctzung der Klimastiftung Schweiz. Darunter finden sich neben zahlreichen Standardmassnahmen f\u00fcr eine bessere Energieeffizienz im Betrieb (Projekte wie die Umstellung auf Elektromobilit\u00e4t, die Nutzung von Abw\u00e4rme oder der Ersatz von Ger\u00e4ten) auch zw\u00f6lf Grossprojekte zur F\u00f6rderung und Aufbereitung von Biogas. Hinzu kommen\u00a0rund\u00a030 Projekte aus dem Waldpflegeprogramm, bei dem die Stiftung\u00a0die\u00a0Verj\u00fcngung \u00fcberalterter W\u00e4lder unterst\u00fctzt, um deren CO2<\/sub>-Aufnahmef\u00e4higkeit zu erhalten. Insgesamt bel\u00e4uft sich\u00a0die Zahl der gef\u00f6rderten Einzelprojekte im Jahr 2020 auf \u00fcber 400 und hat sich damit gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr mehr als verdoppelt.<\/p>\n

R\u00fcckverteilung aus CO2<\/sub>-Abgabe entfaltet gr\u00f6sstm\u00f6gliche Wirkung\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

M\u00f6glich wird die F\u00f6rderung durch \u00fcber 20 Schweizer und Liechtensteiner Unternehmen, die der Stiftung die ihnen zustehende R\u00fcckverteilung aus der CO2-Lenkungsabgabe spenden. Die Klimastiftung Schweiz ist offen f\u00fcr weitere Firmen, die dieses gemeinsame Engagement der Wirtschaft zum Erreichen der nationalen Klimaziele als k\u00fcnftige Partner mittragen m\u00f6chten.<\/p>\n
