Dies wird unter anderem zur Zeit international diskutiert.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die Frage der nachhaltigen Entwicklung ist auch f\u00fcr die Finanzmarktpolitik von immer gr\u00f6sserer Bedeutung. Dies zeigt sich aktuell in den Arbeiten der G20 im Finanzbereich (Finance Track), die unter chinesischer Pr\u00e4sidentschaft erstmals eine Studiengruppe zu \u201eGreen Finance\u201c geschaffen hat, in der auch die Schweiz vertreten ist. Gleichzeitig besch\u00e4ftigen sich das Financial Stability Board (FSB) und der Internationale W\u00e4hrungsfonds (IWF) mit den potenziellen Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf die Finanzmarktstabilit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Staat als Vermittler<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Schweiz beteiligt sich aktiv an den entsprechenden Arbeiten der internationalen Finanzgremien und ist bestrebt, auf nationalem und internationalem Niveau eine konsistente Politik zu verfolgen. Der Bundesrat hat nun\u00a0Grunds\u00e4tze f\u00fcr diese Politik und die Rolle der Schweiz verabschiedet. Sie orientieren sich am Primat marktwirtschaftlicher L\u00f6sungen und an der Subsidiarit\u00e4t staatlichen Handelns und setzen auf Transparenz und Langfristorientierung. Der Staat kann als Vermittler die Bem\u00fchungen der Branche zur \u00d6ffnung des Gesch\u00e4ftsfeldes nachhaltiger Investitionen unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Bundesrat sieht in Bezug auf das Thema der \u00f6kologischen Nachhaltigkeit im Zusammenhang mit der Finanzmarktpolitik sowohl die m\u00f6glichen Risiken f\u00fcr die Finanzstabilit\u00e4t als auch die Chancen f\u00fcr den Finanzplatz Schweiz.
