Der regnerische Schweizer Sommer t\u00e4uscht: Seit Beginn der Messaufzeichnungen im Jahr 1880 war es noch nie so warm auf der Erde wie 2016.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Erschreckende Zahlen der NASA: Der Juli war der w\u00e4rmste je verzeichnete Monat – seit Messbeginn im Jahr 1880. Er war im globalen Durchschnitt\u00a00.84\u00b0C w\u00e4rmer als der langj\u00e4hrige Durchschnitt der Jahre 1950 bs 1980 und 0.11 \u00b0C w\u00e4rmer als der bisherige Rekordmonat – der\u00a0Juli 2015.<\/p>\n

Falls diese Meldung nicht neu klingt, ist das\u00a0kein Wunder – in den vergangenen zehn Monaten war jeder einzelne Monat der w\u00e4rmste seiner Art. Nachdem 2014 und 2015 beide jeweils das bislang heisseste je verzeichnete Jahr waren, zeichnet sich f\u00fcr 2016 wiederum ein neuer Hitzerekord ab. Laut NASA-Experten liegen die Chancen daf\u00fcr bei 99%. Insgesamt lagen die Temperaturen im\u00a0ersten Halbjahr 2016 rund 1.3\u00b0C h\u00f6her als im spten 19. Jahrhundert.<\/p>\n

Mitschuld am neuerlichen Temperaturrekord ist das Wetterph\u00e4nomen\u00a0El Ni\u00f1o, der im aktuellen Jahr besonders stark war. NASA-Klimaexperte Gavin Schmidt, Direktor des Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, ist aber der gr\u00f6ssere Teil dem Klimawandel zu schulden. So warnt er davor, dass auch 2017, wenn die Effekte von El Ni\u00f1o vorbei sind, Temperaturen zu erwarten sind, die rund 1\u00b0C \u00fcber dem vorindustriellen Zeitalter liegen – und damit nur ein halbes Grad unter dem Benchmark vom Pariser Klimagipfel.<\/p>\n

Schweiz: Juli \u00fcber Durchschnitt<\/strong><\/p>\n

In der Schweiz lag die Fr\u00fchlingstemperatur 2016\u00a0im Mittel \u00a0im Bereich der Norm 1981\u20132010. Der Juli 2016\u00a0hingegen erreichte\u00a0laut Bundesamt f\u00fcr Meorologie und Klimatologie\u00a0<\/a>rund 0.9\u00b0C h\u00f6here Temperaturen als\u00a0durchschnittliche Juli der Jahre 1981-2010.<\/p>\n

Die bisherigen Rekordjahre in der Schweiz wurden in den Jahren 2011 (+1.21\u00b0C), 2014 (+1.25\u00b0C) und 2015 (+1.21\u00b0C) verzeichnet. Die Zahlen gelten seit Messbeginn im Jahr 1864.<\/p>\n
