(Bild: Suisse Eole)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>86\u00a0% der 2016 neu installierten Kraftwerksleistung zur Stromproduktion in Europa ist erneuerbar: Wind hatte einen Anteil von 51\u00a0% am gesamten Zubau, Solarstrom von 27\u00a0%. 2016 stammten in Europa 10.4 % des Stroms aus Windenergie, in der Schweiz lediglich knapp 0.2\u00a0%.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e4glich gingen 2016 in der EU durchschnittlich 12 neue Windenergieanlagen in Betrieb. Dank dem kr\u00e4ftigen Zubau ist die Windenergie in der EU neu die zweitwichtigste Stromproduktionstechnologie hinter den Gaskraftwerken, aber noch vor den Kohlekraftwerken. Insbesondere im Winter spielt die Windenergie eine bedeutende Rolle bei der erneuerbaren Energieversorgung, dann erg\u00e4nzt diese als Teamplayer die Sonnen- und Wasserkraft, die in den Wintermonaten weniger produzieren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11 L\u00e4nder mit \u00fcber 10\u00a0% Windstrom<br \/>\n<\/strong>Der Anteil von Windstrom am Strommix in D\u00e4nemark, dem EU-Spitzenreiter, betrug 2016 36.8\u00a0%, gefolgt von Irland mit 27\u00a0% und Portugal mit 24.7\u00a0%. Insgesamt 11 L\u00e4nder decken \u00fcber 10\u00a0% ihres Strombedarfs mit Windenergie. Neben den oben genannten sind dies Zypern, Spanien, Deutschland, Rum\u00e4nien, Grossbritannien, Schweden, Litauen und \u00d6sterreich.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_734\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-734\" style=\"width: 680px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-734\" src=\"\/\/www.umweltperspektiven.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Windenergie_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"656\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-734\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Anteil der Windenergie am gesamten Stromverbrauch des jeweiligen Landes. Zum Vergleich: in der Schweiz liegt der Anteil bei 0.2%. \u00a9Grafik: WindEurope<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Schweiz legt um 25\u00a0% bei installierter Leistung zu<br \/>\n<\/strong>Auch die installierte Leistung in der Schweiz legte dank dem Repowering von vier Anlagen auf dem Mont Crosin und dem Neubau von drei Anlagen auf dem Griespass um 25\u00a0% zu, dies jedoch ausgehend von einem sehr bescheidenen Niveau: Nur gerade knapp 0.2\u00a0% des Strombedarfs der Schweiz stammen aus der Windenergie. Und das, obwohl auch hierzulande das Potenzial gross w\u00e4re: 10\u00a0% der Stromversorgung k\u00f6nnten 2050 mit Windstrom gedeckt werden. Dieses Ziel hat \u00d6sterreich Ende 2016 mit 10.4 % bereits \u00fcbertroffen. In der Schweiz br\u00e4uchte es daf\u00fcr rund 120 Windparks mit 5 bis 10 Windenergieanlagen.
