Trade association procure.ch has opened new head office

On May 1, 2025, the professional association for purchasing and supply management procure.ch celebrated the official opening of its new office in Aarau together with almost 100 guests.

With its new, modern location in Aarau, procure.ch, the professional association for purchasing and supply management, is creating an open meeting and working platform for its members and strengthening its regional presence at the same time. Andreas Kyburz, Managing Director of procure.ch, welcomed the guests and showed them around the new premises. Adrian Jungo, outgoing President, emphasized the importance of an open, accessible place for members in his speech: "It was my heart's desire to create a place where people like to meet - to learn, exchange ideas and network." Andi Bertaggia, newly elected President, emphasized the strategic direction: "The future needs a past - we will remain in Aarau, but with a modern, outward-looking image. Our new office stands for encounter, innovation and identity."

Focus on the educational offer

The employees at the head office gave visitors exciting insights into their activities: In the area of education, not only the organization of the courses and seminars was explained, but also the modern equipped training rooms were shown - including a demonstration of the technical infrastructure, which also enables hybrid teaching. The examinations area provided information on the implementation of the federal professional and higher professional examinations. It also provided an in-depth insight into the close cooperation with the examination board - particularly with regard to the validation of examination content and the time-consuming preparation of the written and oral examination sets. In the association area, the focus was on exchanges with the community: guests were given a first exclusive insight into the new association magazine, which is currently under development, as well as information on upcoming conferences and networking events.

Open meeting place for the association community

With attractive workspaces, bookable meeting rooms and the option of holding events on site or hybrid, the association is positioning itself as an open meeting place for the purchasing and procurement community. In future, more of its own events will be held at the location - without neglecting its decentralized presence in the regions. From summer 2025, the building will also be modernized in terms of energy efficiency (including windows, façade, photovoltaics). The new office is just a ten-minute walk from Aarau train station and is a clear commitment to the future and further development of the association.

Andi Bertaggia was elected as the new President of procure.ch at the Annual General Meeting from April 28 to 30, 2025. He succeeds Adrian Jungo, who is stepping down after more than ten years in office due to the statutory term limit.
