With version 2025, Abacus launches "Abacus Intelligence", a suite of AI functions that fundamentally change the user experience: voice commands, automatic text generation and personalized processes take automation and interaction in companies to a new level and further drive digitalization in Switzerland.

Data centers in Ticino

Artificial intelligence is at the heart of Abacus' strategy. It serves as a key technology for increasing efficiency, reducing costs and making informed decisions in companies. The partnership with Artificialy enables the seamless integration of state-of-the-art solutions directly into Abacus' ERP platforms. At the same time, Tinext ensures that all AI data is processed exclusively in Swiss data centers in Ticino, guaranteeing data sovereignty and full compliance with local data protection regulations.

Data security and sovereignty: a Swiss decision

Thanks to the AI models developed locally by Artificialy - without recourse to OpenAI, Google Gemini or Microsoft AI models - Abacus protects customer data, avoids transferring it abroad and ensures confidentiality and compliance with Swiss data protection laws. A special feature of this initiative is the AI competence center in Ticino, which is headed by professors Luca Gambardella and Marco Zaffalon - pioneers in the field of artificial intelligence. Their expertise has already made a significant contribution to the further development of Abacus ERP. The AI Competence Center in Ticino acts as a driver of innovation and provides new impetus for the further development of Abacus ERP solutions.

This strategy is part of Abacus' vision for 2025: a new generation of intelligent, integrated ERP systems with artificial intelligence at the heart of business automation - scalable, efficient and geared towards the sustainable growth of Swiss companies.
