The House of Communication Zurich is expanding its management team with Pablo Koerfer as CEO of Serviceplan, strengthening the agency with an experienced manager and strategic consulting expertise. Koerfer is joining as a partner: «Serviceplan is independent and completely owner-managed with a practiced partner model. The fact that I can get involved here as an entrepreneur was a decisive factor for me.»
From Rod Kommunikation to Serviceplan
After working at Euro RSCG (now Havas), Advico Young & Rubicam/Y&R Group, Pablo Koerfer joined Rod Kommunikation as Partner and Managing Director and, together with his partners, built the agency into one of the most influential agencies in the country. Following the sale of the agency to Farner, he joined the Management Board and took on the role of Co-CEO.
Pablo Koerfer studied marketing and advertising in London and completed an EMBA at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He lives with his family in Zurich.
Return after sabbatical year
After leaving Farner and Rod, Pablo Koerfer took a one-year sabbatical. «The sabbatical year did me an incredible amount of good and, with a little distance, showed me how much I miss the day-to-day work at the agency with all the different clients and employees. I'm really looking forward to the exciting mandates, all my new colleagues and especially to developing groundbreaking campaigns with Creative Director Raul Serrat.»
Nathalie Diethelm, CEO House of Communication Zurich, is also looking forward to the collaboration: «I am convinced that Pablo is a perfect fit for us and an ideal addition to the management team. His expertise, his flair for innovative communication and his entrepreneurial mindset are a real asset to our team and our clients.»
Focus on technology and creation
Koerfer is convinced by the Serviceplan Group's agency DNA «Creative+Media+Technology» with the aim of achieving the best possible impact for clients and their communication tasks. «Serviceplan is forward-looking. It was the first agency group to standardize all central workflows with AI and is investing substantially in technology with its partnership with Luma AI. I have seen many agencies and come to the conclusion that the Serviceplan Group is at least one step ahead of the competition when it comes to technology,» explains Koerfer.
The House of Communication in Zurich unites the Serviceplan, Plan.Net and Mediaplus brands with a common goal: Building Best Brands. The agencies work for well-known clients such as BMW Group Switzerland, Denner, Swiss Post, Sika, WWF, Rega, Hornbach and C&A. They offer pioneering brand management with maximum impact on all channels.
