Marcel Napierala has proven management experience in the healthcare sector. With Medbase, of which he is co-founder and CEO, he has built up one of the leading companies in the field of integrated care since 2001. Today, Medbase is not only active in the pharmacy business, but also in medicine, dentistry and wholesale - and employs over 4,400 people. With his experience, he brings new perspectives and knows the challenges of the healthcare sector inside out, especially from the perspective of service providers.»

Thanks to Marc-André Ballestraz and Claude Bähler

Marc-André Ballestraz, who will be succeeded by Napierala, has decided to leave the Board of Directors after twelve years. The Board of Trustees of Fondation Groupe Mutuel would like to thank him for his commitment and constructive cooperation. His network and his expertise in the areas of audit and auditing were of great value to Groupe Mutuel in view of the increasing importance of governance issues.

There is also a change on the Board of Trustees: Claude Bähler is stepping down. The Board of Trustees thanks him for his commitment, which was characterized by a humanistic world view. His successor is Christophe Longchamp, President of Prométerre. His experience and regional roots will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the Foundation Board.

These changes are part of the gradual renewal of the committees and an investment in the diversity of skills and profiles within the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees.
