Treecycle, headquartered in the canton of Zug, has presented its 2025 IFRS financial statements, which were audited by the international auditing firm Grant Thornton on June 12, 2026. These financial statements document a significant expansion of the company’s asset base, a strengthened equity structure, and the continued development of reforestation projects in Paraguay. On this basis, the company received approval for a new securities prospectus on June 23, 2026.

Significant Expansion of the Capital Base

According to the audited annual financial statements, the book value of the plantations and land increased from approximately 12.5 million CHF at the end of 2024 to approximately 33.1 million CHF at the end of 2025—a rise of approximately 165 percent. As of the balance sheet date, the asset value was CHF 27.40 per Tree, which corresponds to a calculated increase of approximately 30.5 percent compared to the previous issue price of CHF 21. The Tree’s real value backing rose from approximately 64 percent in fiscal year 2024 to approximately 137.7 percent in fiscal year 2025.

The capital structure also showed a positive trend: Equity increased from approximately 10.4 million CHF to approximately 28.3 million CHF. The equity ratio stood at approximately 79 percent as of the balance sheet date.

Jörg Schäfer, founder and CEO of Treecycle, comments on the results: «The annual financial statements show how our company performed in fiscal year 2025. The focus was on the continuous expansion of our reforestation areas, the development of long-term assets, and a solid equity base as the foundation for the company’s further growth.»

Expansion of Reforestation Projects in Paraguay

The development of reported assets is closely linked to the expansion of reforestation projects in Paraguay. The area already reforested increased from approximately 320 hectares at the end of 2024 to approximately 920 hectares at the end of 2025—meaning that approximately 600 additional hectares were reforested during the fiscal year.

Treecycle acquires land that is either fallow or of limited agricultural use, develops it for sustainable forestry, and plants it with fast-growing hardwood trees. The goal is to build up sustainable timber resources over the long term while reducing the pressure on natural forest areas.

New Securities Prospectus Approved – Increase in Total Area

With the approval of the new securities prospectus, Treecycle has established the regulatory framework for continuing the issuance of the Tree security. An issue price of 25 CHF per Tree is planned for new subscriptions. This is below the net asset value of 27.40 CHF per Tree, as determined on a balance sheet basis and reported in the audited annual financial statements.

For the 2026 fiscal year, Treecycle has already secured contracts for 1,212 hectares of reforestation land. Reforestation of these areas is scheduled for the current year. In addition, the company plans to develop an additional 250 hectares for reforestation. This will bring the total area to nearly 3,000 hectares in 2026.

The complete 2025 Annual Report will be made available to investors in July 2026. It contains the audited financial statements, the management report, and the audit report from Grant Thornton.
