ITpoint Becomes Sharp DX: Sharp Europe Strengthens Digital Transformation in Switzerland

Starting August 3, 2026, ITpoint, the Swiss managed IT services and cloud specialist, will operate under the Sharp DX brand. With this rebranding, Sharp Europe is consolidating its European IT capabilities under a single umbrella brand—and promises Swiss customers greater expertise while maintaining the same level of customer focus.

Sharp Europe is continuing to expand its presence in the field of digital transformation in Switzerland. ITpoint, the Swiss managed IT services and cloud specialist that Sharp acquired in 2021, will officially operate under the Sharp DX (Digital Experience) brand starting August 3, 2026.

European IT expertise under one umbrella brand

Following the acquisitions of Complete I.T. in the United Kingdom, ITpoint in Switzerland, and Apsia in France, Sharp is consolidating its European IT capabilities under the umbrella brand Sharp DX. This creates a comprehensive managed services offering that supports companies and partners across Europe at every stage of their digital transformation. The range of services includes managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, data management, business applications, and artificial intelligence.

Roland Singer, Vice President at Sharp DX Europe, explains the strategic rationale behind the move: «The transition to Sharp DX is much more than just a new brand identity. It is a key building block of our European transformation. By consolidating our IT expertise under a single brand, we can offer companies a comprehensive range of digital services. For our customers, this means access to a broader European network of experts, additional expertise, and an integrated service portfolio that provides holistic support for companies undergoing digital transformation.»

Continuity for Existing Customers

Despite the rebranding, much will remain the same for existing customers: The familiar points of contact, project teams, and service organizations will continue as before. Existing contracts, services, operating models, and data storage in Switzerland will also continue seamlessly. Philippe Wettstein, CEO of the future Sharp DX (Switzerland), emphasizes: «For our customers, the most important things remain the same: The people they know and trust today will continue to be their points of contact. Our teams, our values, and our commitment to service quality remain the same. What’s new is that, as part of Sharp DX, we can now access additional European expertise and resources. This enables us to support our customers even more comprehensively—from modern cloud platforms and cybersecurity to data and AI solutions.»

ORIA Enterprise Cloud and AI as Growth Drivers

A key element of the offering remains the ORIA Enterprise Cloud platform developed by ITpoint. It enables the operation of cloud services in local data centers and combines modern cloud technologies with local data residency and clearly defined operational responsibility. The infrastructure remains the property of and under the responsibility of the future Sharp DX (Switzerland).

Under the new brand, artificial intelligence is becoming a central component of modern business solutions. Building on secure cloud, data, and security platforms, Sharp DX helps companies translate AI potential into concrete business applications—from boosting productivity in day-to-day work to automating business processes and deploying intelligent agent systems.

With Sharp DX, Sharp Europe is positioning itself as an integrated technology partner for IT services, managed print, and audiovisual solutions, and is creating a clear platform for the next phase of growth in the European digital transformation market.
