Change in Leadership at Help Media: Nishan Ulagarajah Named New CEO
Help Media AG is restructuring its operational leadership: Nishan Ulagarajah is taking over as CEO effective immediately. Andy Rauch will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors and will focus on strategy and new business areas going forward.

Help Media AG clearly separates operational and strategic leadership: Nishan Ulagarajah assumes the role of CEO and, with it, overall responsibility for day-to-day operations. Andy Rauch, the former managing director and co-founder, is stepping back to the Board of Directors and will henceforth focus on long-term corporate strategy, new partnerships, and the development of additional business areas.
An experienced expert takes the helm
Nishan Ulagarajah has been with Help Media AG for several years and is thoroughly familiar with the company’s platforms, products, and technical infrastructure. In his previous role, he played a key role in the operational development of the Help.ch network. With his appointment as CEO, he now assumes overall responsibility for the company’s operations.
«I am very pleased about the trust placed in me and this new role. Help.ch has an exceptional foundation of corporate data, digital platforms, and many years of experience. We intend to further build on these strengths and, in particular, take advantage of the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence and new forms of information retrieval,» says Nishan Ulagarajah.
Continuity and a Clear Division of Responsibilities
Andy Rauch will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors and will continue to actively guide the company’s strategic direction. The new division of responsibilities creates room for greater involvement in partnerships and long-term projects. «Nishan knows our company, our technology, and our customers very well. Handing over operational responsibility is therefore a logical step. At the same time, the new division of responsibilities gives me more freedom to focus on the company’s long-term development and new projects,» explains Andy Rauch.
Help.ch: A Swiss Internet pioneer since 1996
Help.ch has been online since 1996, making it one of Switzerland’s longest-standing Internet services. Over the years, it has evolved from its early search and directory services into a comprehensive Swiss information and business network. Today, Help Media AG operates more than 150 specialized internet portals and has a portfolio of approximately 2,500 domains. A key focus is Help.ch’s Swiss business directory, which provides extensive information on companies and organizations.
At the same time, the company is continuing to expand its offerings in the areas of structured data, digital visibility, and the use of information by modern search and AI systems. The goal is to integrate its long-standing database and established publishing platforms with new technological capabilities.
With this leadership change, Help Media AG is establishing a clear structure for its future development: As CEO, Nishan Ulagarajah is responsible for day-to-day operations, while Andy Rauch, as Chairman of the Board of Directors, oversees strategic development and partnerships.
