On October 15, 2026, the KMU Swiss Symposium will take place at the Campussaal Kultur + Kongresse in Brugg-Windisch. This year’s theme is «Think greater again,» inviting entrepreneurs to broaden their perspectives, think more boldly, and draw concrete inspiration for their own success. Change is viewed not as a threat but as an opportunity—as the foundation for fresh ways of thinking, entrepreneurial vision, and innovative strength.

A wide range of topics with practical relevance

The focus is on various aspects of «thinking bigger»: from business growth and sustainable brand building to industrial and technological innovation, and on to social security. The speakers present current developments in an accessible way and place them in a business context, so that SMEs can immediately apply the insights gained to their own situations.

The Program

Doors open at 2:15 p.m. for registration and a welcome coffee reception. During the first session from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. and the second session from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. —with a coffee break and networking session from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.—the speakers will share their experiences and visions. The event will conclude at 6:30 p.m. with a standing dinner and networking session until 9:00 p.m.

The speakers

In terms of content, the symposium will be shaped by six entrepreneurial-minded individuals. Martina Hammer, founder of Feelgood Condoms—the first sustainable and vegan Swiss condom brand—will speak on the topic «Craving More—Feel Good» about how a market gap can give rise to a bold brand concept. Christoph Erni, founder and CEO of Juice Technology and the global market leader in mobile charging stations for electric vehicles, will demonstrate in his talk titled «Think Different—Think Big!» how personal frustration can give rise to an internationally successful company.

In his presentation titled «From Textile Yarn to Stone Wool,» Franz Kainz, Head of Sales at Flumroc, takes the audience on a journey through the history and innovative strength of the Swiss insulation industry. Philip Morger, Director at Switzerland Global Enterprise, will discuss in his presentation titled «From Swiss Innovation to Global Growth» how Swiss SMEs can leverage their innovative strength on the international stage. Gérald Walti, Deputy Director and CFO of Innosuisse, will share his experience in Swiss innovation promotion. Finally, Corps Commander Benedikt Roos, who has been Chief of the Swiss Armed Forces since January 2026, will speak on the topic «Moving Forward Together! Greater Security for Switzerland» about the security policy challenges of our time.

Networking and Exchange

The concept of networking runs like a common thread through the entire event. From the reception through the coffee breaks to the closing cocktail reception, opportunities are created for personal encounters, spontaneous conversations, and the cross-industry exchange of experiences. Participants appreciate the KMU Swiss Symposia for their combination of in-depth content, immediate practical applicability, and an atmosphere that is both friendly and professional.
