Jaisli-Xamax AG is setting the course for its future development: As of September 23, 2026, the long-established electrical engineering company has become part of the Serafin Group. With its new owner, Jaisli-Xamax gains a financially strong partner with a long-term perspective that preserves the company’s independence and opens up additional opportunities for investment and further growth.

With this generational transition, Jaisli-Xamax is entering the next phase of its nearly 60-year success story. Today, the company employs approximately 600 people at its locations in Dietikon, Basel, Bern, and Zug, and is one of the leading electrical engineering firms in German-speaking Switzerland.

A Long-Term Partner for the Next Phase

The Serafin Group is a family-run group of companies based in Munich that was founded in 2010 and holds stakes in medium-sized industrial companies throughout Europe. Its portfolio includes, among others, RCR Industrial Flooring, Conica, OTB, and the Schrauben-Jäger Group.

Serafin pursues a long-term investment strategy and supports its portfolio companies in their independent growth with entrepreneurial experience and operational expertise. For Jaisli-Xamax, therefore, the focus is not on integration into new operational structures, but rather on building on its existing strengths: its experienced team, strong market position, close relationships with customers and partners, and long-standing expertise in the electrical industry.

Continuity Meets New Possibilities

Under its new ownership, Jaisli-Xamax will continue to operate as an independent company under its existing brand. Rolf Weber will continue to lead the company as CEO. The current executive team and staff will also remain on board. The locations in Dietikon, Basel, Bern, and Zug will continue to operate.

At the same time, the new ownership opens up additional opportunities to drive the company’s development forward. Plans include investments in building systems, digitalization, and the expansion of facilities. The goal is to lay the groundwork for further growth and strengthen Jaisli-Xamax’s market position over the long term.

«When we—my partners Markus Schmid, Kosta Vellidis, René Weidinger, and I—took over Jaisli-Xamax in October 2002, an extraordinary entrepreneurial journey began for us. Together with our team, our customers, and our partners, we were able to successfully grow the company over many years. When it came to succession planning, it was important to us to find an owner who shares our values, thinks long-term, and believes in Jaisli-Xamax’s potential. In Serafin, we have found that partner. »I look forward to continuing to play an active role in shaping the next phase of growth as CEO and taking the next steps together with our team,” says Rolf Weber, CEO of Jaisli-Xamax.

Serafin also sees Jaisli-Xamax’s existing strengths as the foundation for further growth: «Jaisli-Xamax has impressed us with its market position, its well-coordinated team, and its many years of experience. We look forward to supporting the company on its growth trajectory as a long-term partner,» says Dr. Simon Brösamle, CEO of the Serafin Group.

New Ownership, Proven Operational Leadership

With the change in ownership, the Board of Directors is being restructured. Dr. Simon Brösamle, CEO of the Serafin Group, will assume the chairmanship of the Board of Directors. Jürg Lutz, Mike Seiler, and Rolf Weber will remain members of the Board of Directors. Also joining the Board of Directors are Martin Pfletschinger, Managing Director of the Serafin Group, and Sebastian Kreitmayr, Senior Manager of Value Creation at the Serafin Group.

Operational leadership will remain unchanged: Rolf Weber and the current executive team will continue to lead Jaisli-Xamax and be responsible for the company's operational development.
