Centre Patronal acquires Trianon from Mobiliar

Centre Patronal acquires Trianon, a leader in the outsourcing of HR services and pension fund administration. In doing so, it aims to expand its offering for companies and strengthen its market position in German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland.

Mobiliar is focusing on its core business and has sold Trianon AG to Centre Patronal.

The business association Centre Patronal is acquiring Trianon AG, a Mobiliar Group company since 2016, in order to further develop its own offering and Trianon's business areas. The company is now one of Switzerland's leading companies in the field of business process outsourcing. Its activities include the administration of pension funds, HR services and proactive absence management. Centre Patronal has been representing the interests of the private sector and providing services for companies for 85 years. With the acquisition of Trianon by Centre Patronal, clients will benefit from an additional range of services.

The Centre Patronal association was founded in 1940 in the canton of Vaud and is based in Paudex. It currently employs around 400 people. Centre Patronal has been represented in German-speaking Switzerland with a branch in Bern since 1973 and in Zurich since 2022. Christophe Reymond, Managing Director of Centre Patronal: "Among other things, Centre Patronal is developing occupational pension and HR services. Joining forces with Trianon is therefore an obvious and promising move. It offers both players prospects for further developing their services and expanding their customer base." Thomas Bossart, Head of Pensions at Mobiliar: "Centre Patronal is the ideal owner for Trianon. It will lead the company successfully into the future and continue its growth trajectory."

As part of its Avantage 2030 strategic orientation, Swiss Mobiliar is focusing on activities that directly support its core business, the insurance and pensions business in Switzerland. The acquisition of Trianon by Centre Patronal is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2025, subject to approval by the relevant authorities. The approximately 220 Trianon employees in Nyon, Zurich and Bern will be taken over on the same terms. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
