Third Swiss SME Expert Forum 2025 focuses on digital transformation
The 3rd SME Expert Forum will take place on August 28, 2025 in Holzhäusern/Rotkreuz (ZG). The forum offers inspiring presentations, concrete case studies and a unique networking platform.

Digital transformation affects every company. The SME Expert Forum was specially developed to provide a platform where Swiss companies can share their experiences directly. Consultants and service providers deliberately remain in the background in order to focus on the practical experience of the companies.
Highlights of the event
Inspiring presentations will provide insights from leading experts on the latest trends and developments in digital transformation. Using concrete case studies, the experiences of other SMEs will be shared to demonstrate best practices that can be applied in various companies. For example, Daniela Küttel, member of the management board of Neugass Kino AG, will present an analogue business model in a digitalized world. Marcus Bitterlich from Pilatus Flugzeugwerke will explain how to deal with the flood of data from aircraft, machines and ERP systems and will also be able to provide valuable information for companies that do not come from the technology sector. Or Max Burian from Dectris will speak on the topic of "Developing a global collaboration platform to manage the flood of data in the age of open source and AI". Other speakers include Bettina Gimenez (Founder/Managing Director of Dancing Queens), Jens Fischer (Head of Digital at BICO) and Marc Boixet (Head of E-Commerce, Kambly).
In a keynote speech, Dirk Apel, Vice President of the Swiss Transit Lab, will present the latest developments in autonomous driving in Switzerland. The Swiss Transit Lab, commissioned by the Canton of Aargau, Zurich and SBB, is implementing the "Automated driving in the Furttal" pilot project. The aim is to integrate automated vehicles into public transport and thus actively shape the mobility of the future. This initiative marks a significant step in Swiss transport history and promises to revolutionize mobility in the long term.
Last but not least, the SME specialist forum is a networking platform: generously scheduled breaks allow you to exchange ideas with like-minded people, share experiences and make valuable contacts.
