The sponsor and initiator of the Prix SVC awards is the SVC (Swiss Venture Club), an independent association for the promotion and support of SMEs in Switzerland, which was founded in 2001. With the Prix SVC Nordschweiz, it honors exemplary companies that impress with their innovative products and services, their corporate culture, the quality of their employees and management and their sustainable track record.

The selection of companies and the nominations for the Prix SVC are made exclusively by an independent jury of experts with strong regional roots. The nomination process is headed by Bernhard B. Fischer, Regional Vice Chairman at UBS Switzerland. As jury president, he is looking forward to the upcoming company visit day at the beginning of September 2025, on which the sixteen jury members will visit the five finalists on site one after the other and then rank them.

The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Congress Center Basel. 1,000 guests from the worlds of business, science, politics and culture are expected to attend.
