Venturelab has been selecting the members of the Swiss national start-up team since 2006. As part of the Venture Leaders Roadshows, entrepreneurs meet with leading experts, investors and potential customers in global technology centers such as the Silicon ValleyBoston, Asia, Barcelona, Munich and London. A jury of investors and fintech experts has now selected ten startups to participate in the Venture Leaders Fintech Roadshow 2025 in London. The roadshow offers entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to accelerate the development of their startup, expand their professional network and benefit from pitch sessions with investors and workshops with industry leaders.

Switzerland with a lively fintech startup scene

The Venture Leaders program highlights Switzerland's strong presence in the global fintech startup scene. The ten selected startups showcase the country's leadership in a variety of areas, from options trading transformation, wealth management and AI risk management to insurance redesign (pets, weather, claims), blockchain investigations, regulatory compliance and ultra-secure data management. "The startups in the Venture Leaders Fintech program are doing impressive work, and the roadshow in London is an important step in showcasing Swiss innovation globally," emphasizes Stefan Steiner, Co-Managing Director of Venturelab. "The week with the Venture Leaders was a great opportunity to present our startup GenTwo to investors and immerse ourselves in the London ecosystem," emphasizes Philippe Naegeli, CEO and co-founder of GenTwo and Venture Leader Fintech 2023.

This year's Venture Leaders Fintech entrepreneurs join an impressive group of fintech alumni, including high-profile startups such as Crypto Finance (acquired by Deutsche Börse), eCollect (acquired by Intrum), Imburse (acquired by Duck Creek Technologies), Qumram (acquired by Dynatrace), Lend, Sonect, TP24, Wyden and many more. The Venture Leaders Fintech 2025 program is organized by Venturelab and Swissnex and supported by EPFL, ETH Zurich, PostFinance and Walder Wyss.
