As always, the SME Swiss Symposium offers participants the opportunity to engage in a dialog on opportunities, risks and future strategies for value-creating small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition to entrepreneurs and representatives from business and politics, various embassies will also be present.

High-caliber speakers

The Autumn 2025 program offers a varied line-up of renowned personalities:

  • Judith Wernli, journalist and radio presenter, talks about the power of community.
  • Fabia Löw, a passionate entrepreneur, sheds light on how diligence, perseverance and a spirit of innovation lead to sustainable success.
  • Hansjürg Emch, successful entrepreneur and investor, shares his experiences in industry and entrepreneurship and the benefits of slow growth.

Another highlight comes in the form of a joint interview: Dr. Giorgio Behr, entrepreneur and investor, meets young entrepreneur Tom Morf as an experienced leader in the watch industry. Their discussion promises exciting perspectives on entrepreneurship, responsibility and personal consequences under the symposium leitmotif. The question of why the prophet is often misjudged in his own country will also be explored.

The overall moderation takes over Michael Sokollwho, with his experience as a journalist and presenter, brings together the threads of the evening and ensures inspiring discussions.

The prologue in the run-up to the symposium

AI digitization poses major challenges for many Swiss SMEs. However, it also opens up great opportunities - especially when it comes to efficiency and sustainability. For example, the digital solution not only saves time and money when receiving mail, sending invoices or filing documents, but also paper and energy. ePost shows how SMEs can digitize their physical mail step by step in a simple, secure and sustainable way.

A forum for exchange and inspiration

The SME SWISS Symposia are more than just lecture events. Rather, they offer a platform to make trends, challenges and opportunities in entrepreneurship visible and to motivate participants to implement what they have heard. The breaks and the networking aperitif offer the opportunity to make contacts, discover synergies and toast to new collaborations.

Particularly in an environment characterized by economic uncertainty, digital transformation and social change, the organizers of the symposium want to open up perspectives and encourage people to take responsibility. Diligence, according to this year's credo, is a driving force behind success - but it also comes at a price. Personalities who can look back on decades of experience in entrepreneurship will discuss the right way to deal with this.
