Permamed AG wins the Prix SVC Nordschweiz
Permamed AG was honored with the prestigious Prix SVC Nordschweiz 2025 in front of an impressive backdrop at the Congress Center Basel on 13 November 2025. The company has been operating successfully in the Swiss healthcare market since 1979.

The SVC (Swiss Venture Club) awarded the Prix SVC Nordschweiz to exemplary small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for the twelfth time. This year's award ceremony offered the 900 guests from business, politics, society and the media inspiring insights into the region's diverse entrepreneurship. The event featured a number of innovations this time: For the first time, only one winner was chosen from the five nominated finalists and there was no further ranking. The award ceremony was therefore «leaner» and quicker than in previous years, but was no less entertaining thanks to Daniel von Wattenwyl's once again experienced moderation and the usual film portraits of the finalists. The stage design also had a new look.
Successful in a niche as a pharmaceutical SME
There was excitement when the new SVC Managing Director Franziska Bürki opened the envelope containing the winning company: the race was won by the pharmaceutical company Permamed AG from Therwil BL. The company is a niche player and pioneer in topical basic therapy for skin diseases as well as anti-aging treatments, sports injuries, rheumatism, venous diseases and phytotherapy. The company offers market-leading products, some of which have been established in clinics, surgeries, pharmacies and drugstores for over 40 years. The best-known brands include Lubex and Sportusal. Permamed was founded by Christian H. Lutz; today the second-generation family business employs around 80 people in Switzerland. Bernhard B. Fischer, jury president, honored the winner in his laudatory speech. «Permamed has always stood for Swiss quality, innovation and consistency. All products are developed and produced entirely in Switzerland. The «Swiss Made» label is thus lived 100%. Seven products are market leaders in Switzerland and underline Permamed's strong position in the field of dermatology. With 76 of its own developments to date, the company is also demonstrating its leading role in this niche.»
