Axept acquires Abacus Services SA

Abacus Services SA has been operating as a sales partner in western Switzerland for over ten years and has successfully introduced Abacus business software to more than 200 companies during this time. As of April 1, 2026, Abacus Services SA will operate within Axept as a new business unit called Abacus Suisse Romande. Axept is thus continuing its strategy of positioning its service portfolio uniformly and comprehensively throughout Switzerland.

Strengthening the partner ecosystem in western Switzerland

With the outsourcing of its consulting business, Abacus Research AG is restructuring its partner network in western Switzerland and enabling Axept to gain expanded market access in strategically important industries. Abacus Services SA is currently strongly positioned in the ancillary construction industry—a sector in which Axept also has expertise and many years of experience. This expansion will enable Axept to serve companies in western Switzerland in a more targeted manner in the future. All employees and customers of Abacus Services SA will be taken over by Axept. This ensures continuity for all stakeholders and creates the basis for expanding the existing Axept solution portfolio in line with the local range of services.
