Information management specialist Opentext is an official partner and co-sponsor of the National Summer Games Zug 2026 (28-31 May 2026). Under the motto «Data for Good - Moving more together», the company is setting an example for inclusion, social responsibility and the unifying power of sport.
Focus on inclusion
The National Summer Games of Special Olympics Switzerland stand for diversity, equality and active inclusion. Athletes with intellectual disabilities compete for medals in 16 different sports. Opentext shares these values and actively promotes projects that break down barriers - both in sport and in the digital space.
Opentext employees will not only support the games as co-sponsors, but will also be involved as volunteers on site - recognizable by branded jerseys that attract attention to the athletes and participants. In addition, Roger Stalder, Regional Vice President ALPS at Opentext, and Philipp Wyss, CEO of Coop, will be grilling for visitors and participants of the games at the «CEO Grill» with the «Zug2026 Grill Apron».

Team spirit meets technology
Sport and performance connect people - as does collaboration. Opentext brings together teams from different areas to work together on solutions that achieve real social impact. The company positions data as the fundamental strategic asset for innovation and artificial intelligence. It connects, secures and contextualizes data across all business functions so that AI delivers reliable, accurate and actionable results.
The team spirit of the games is reflected in the corporate culture: the focus is on cooperation, equal opportunities, respect and shared growth. «For us, the partnership is more than just a co-sponsorship - it is a commitment to an open, inclusive society,» says Roger Stalder. «Together with the athletes and the community, we want to set a strong example of how technology and humanity can go hand in hand - true to the motto »Data for Good'. I am particularly proud that many of our employees will be volunteering on site in addition to sponsoring - with heart, dedication and enthusiasm."
Sport as a platform for change
The National Summer Games Zug 2026 provide a stage for exceptional performances and inspiring stories. Opentext is using this platform to raise awareness of topics such as inclusion, diversity and responsible data use - with the aim of creating long-term momentum that extends beyond the event.
