Rajesh Nair will take over the management of Detecon (Schweiz) AG on June 1, 2026. He succeeds Ralf Helbig, who will remain with the company as a partner. In his new role as Managing Director, Nair will be responsible for Detecon's strategic growth in the Alpine region - i.e. Switzerland and Austria.

Return with proven transformation expertise

Rajesh Nair is no stranger to the company: he was a partner at Detecon (Switzerland) from 2016 to 2020, where he was responsible for Business Technology Strategy and Architecture. Most recently, he was a member of the management board at Post Digital Services, where, as Head of Digital Health, he led the development of the national infrastructure for the electronic patient record. He brings in-depth expertise in digital transformation and technology from various international management positions in the field of digital services.

«I am delighted to be returning to Detecon Alpine in my new role as Managing Director,» says Rajesh Nair. «Together with the team, I want to continue the successful growth story and further strengthen Detecon as a leading partner for digital transformation in Switzerland and Austria. As part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, we offer our customers an integrated end-to-end portfolio - from infrastructure, cloud and 5G solutions to consulting, implementation and operations.»

Focus on strategic growth

Detecon is positioned as an independent company within the Deutsche Telekom Group and supports companies and public institutions in successfully shaping and sustainably implementing digital change. Its services range from network infrastructure and 5G campus networks to the development of smart mobility solutions, the design of digital ecosystems and the adaptation of working environments. Detecon employs more than 1100 people at various locations worldwide - highly qualified consultants from over 50 nations.

Jürgen Schäfer, CEO of Detecon International, comments on the appointment: «With Rajesh Nair, Detecon Alpine is gaining a leader with strong technology and transformation expertise. He knows our company and the needs of our customers from his own experience and is ideally qualified to drive the successful development of the region forward.»
