Renggli Expands Its Production Facility in Schötz by 25 Percent

Renggli AG is investing in its production facility in Schötz: With the construction of a new production hall, the company is increasing its capacity in serial and industrial wood element construction by about 25 percent and creating additional opportunities for wood-frame construction. The building permit was recently granted, and construction is set to begin in the coming days.

Expansion in Response to Rising Demand

With this expansion, Renggli is responding to the growing demand for cost-effective, sustainable, and industrially manufactured wood construction solutions. The new production facility adds an additional 1,700 m² of space to the existing 8,000 m². The focus is on expanding the production of prefabricated building elements and further developing timber-frame construction as a key building method. This allows Renggli to remain flexible in meeting the diverse project requirements of multi-story residential and commercial construction.

The new facility is scheduled for completion in early summer 2027, so that production can begin as early as the second quarter of 2027.

About 30 new jobs at the Schötz plant

As part of the plant expansion, Renggli is creating a total of about 30 new jobs at its Schötz location. Half of these will be in production, and the other half in planning and project management. The first positions have already been posted. At the same time, the company is investing in the training and professional development of its own skilled workers, thereby underscoring its long-term commitment to Schötz as a business location.
