Bug Bounty Switzerland has officially unveiled its new name and brand: The company will now operate under the name SignalFisher. The rebranding is much more than just a visual refresh—it reflects a fundamental shift that has taken place in the security testing market and has led to a comprehensive repositioning of the company’s offerings in recent months. The company has also closed a funding round totaling 12 million Swiss francs, which it plans to use to drive the scaling and internationalization of its business.

A livestream instead of a snapshot, a signal instead of noise

The driving force behind this change is the rapidly evolving threat landscape: With powerful AI resources now readily available, the speed at which security vulnerabilities are identified and exploited has increased exponentially. «The time window between when a vulnerability is discovered and when it’s first exploited has shrunk to just a few hours,» explains Sandro Nafzger, CEO and co-founder of SignalFisher. «The processes currently in place at organizations and companies to detect vulnerabilities can no longer keep up with this pace.»

Nevertheless, many cybersecurity leaders still settle for snapshots: a handful of annual penetration tests that are often neither relevant nor up-to-date. Others have tried to use AI as a defensive measure, but their processes have collapsed under the sheer volume of findings it generates. What companies really need is an intelligent livestream: not a constant stream of noise, but a continuously adapted flow of relevant insights that filters the signal from the noise.

SignalFisher offers AI-orchestrated security testing programs that continuously run, learn, and adapt to new information—whether it’s a change in the attack surface, a new external threat, or insights gathered from previous security tests. They keep pace with these changes and give security professionals the confidence and coverage they need to work effectively.

Testing programs developed by cybersecurity experts

The programs are developed and managed by cybersecurity experts. They cover the entire security testing process—from establishing the context and defining the scope to conducting the tests and analyzing the results. The business and industry-specific context is incorporated from the very beginning and continuously expanded. This enables customers—from the CISO to senior management and the board of directors—to make informed decisions based on insights that are relevant, up-to-date, and reliable.

At the heart of the security platform is the Cyber Resilience Shield, which enables organizations to conduct continuous and scalable security assessments of their entire exposed attack surface—without the need for in-house specialists or fragmented, standalone solutions.

The Kingfisher as a Symbolic Animal

At the heart of the new brand is a bird—the kingfisher—as its symbolic animal. With keen eyes, it spots its prey, dives down at lightning speed, and strikes with precision. Speed, precision, and intelligence—these are the attributes SignalFisher aims to embody when it comes to testing companies« attack surfaces and separating the important signal from the general noise. The bird’s luminous eyes, which symbolize constant vigilance and intelligence, have found their way into the new logo in both form and color. The bright turquoise radiates confidence and a sense of lightness in the face of new possibilities.
